La Marquise in the heart of the Bastide Carcassonne

Fall under the charm of *La Marquise*, a retro-chic 24m² studio located in the heart of Carcassonne's city center.

Quiet, bright, and fully equipped, this ideally located accommodation is just steps away from Place Carnot with its restaurants and shops. Explore everything on foot: the train station is 8 minutes away, and the medieval citadel and the Château Comtal are just a 20-minute walk. If you're in the mood for a bike ride, an electric bike station is located on the same street. Parking is available nearby.

**The accommodation**
Recently renovated studio, located on the 3rd floor (no elevator) of a building right in the heart of Carcassonne's city center (Bastide district).

At your disposal:
* A kitchen area with: microwave, induction cooktop, fridge, kettle, drip coffee maker
* A dining area where you can enjoy your meals with refined French tableware
* A sleeping area with a very comfortable queen-size bed (160x200)
* A bathroom with a lovely bathtub

Bed linens, bath towels, and kitchen towels are provided. We also provide a hairdryer, soap, shower gel, and shampoo in the bathroom. In the kitchen, you'll find all the necessary utensils, dish soap, a sponge, as well as salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, sugar, and spices. For your clothes, a drying rack, iron, and ironing board are available in the closet.

*La Marquise* has been classified as a 2-star furnished tourist accommodation since February 28, 2023.

**Guest access**
If you're arriving by train:
The SNCF train station is an 8-minute walk from the apartment.

If you're arriving by plane:
A shuttle departs 45 minutes after each flight arrival. The ticket costs €6 per person. Get off at the SNCF station stop, then walk 8 minutes to reach the apartment.

If you're arriving by bike:
There are spots to lock your bike in front of the building. However, bikes are not allowed in the common areas of the building, and no bike storage is available.

If you're arriving by motorbike:
There are motorcycle parking spaces directly in front of the building.

If you're arriving by car:
You will find parking spaces along the boulevards surrounding the Bastide district.

**Other notes**
The apartment has self check-in with a secure key box.
Check-in is from 4 PM, and check-out is before 11 AM. You are free to arrive or leave at any time within those hours.

The apartment is strictly non-smoking.

It is not suitable for babies or young children.

Pets are welcome, provided they are well-behaved, do not bark, do not get on the bed, and do not damage the apartment. Pets must not be left alone in the apartment. Please inform us of their presence. A water bowl, a food bowl, and a cozy pet bed are provided for your convenience.

There is no washing machine in the apartment, but a laundromat is located on the neighboring street, less than 50 meters away.
