Staff is friendly. Facilities are declining. Breakfast offering has decreased. We’ve stayed here annually for years on a family trip and up until this year have been very pleased. However, this year, the lack of investment has become very apparent. Breakfast used to be more robust. It is a paltry offering now, just a couple of overripe bananas and a few apples, some cereals, some yogurts, and a pancake or waffle station. The treadmill is in disrepair. Many of the buttons do not work. The belt is slippy, so feels quite dangerous at 3 mph or higher (and the increments are in 1 mph increments due to broken buttons). We had a live cockroach in our bathroom one day. The beds are very comfortable. With a little TLC, this would be a good budget hotel, but, as is, we’ll be tempted to look elsewhere.

Staff was friendly. Breakfast was really weak, no eggs, meat, and was mainly sugar. Sole elevator was broken for 3 days. The attached parking lot was adorned by homeless, an abandoned couch, stolen shopping carts and a car someone was shooting up in. So... Leaves a bit to be desired.

Staff were excellent! Older facility, very clean. No eggs or meat for breakfast, but if that’s your thing Waffle House is nearby. Single elevator not working and one in our party had very recent surgery. Staff offered to help, but this was frustrating for all!

Elevator was out of order. We were given a 3rd floor room. Front desk, (FD), was friendly, but would not budge on changing our room. Needed manager’s approval, and she was not available by phone. FD, offered to carry our luggage up for us. My husband is handicapped & could not handle 3 flights of stairs. Thankful to God, I had the Expedia’s # in my phone. I called and was transferred to a rep who then called Sleep Inn. Presto! We were given a 1st floor room! Time, it took 30 minutes to resolve this. Should have been a non-issue. This was the only issue we had. Room was clean & comfortable.
