This is a safe high quality property . Ocean in front is a big bonus for swimming . Service was very good . I would not recommend staying in the rear units . There is a busy hi way behind the property and can be noisy . Most units face the ocean and have views . Sunset is a big bonus also very well located for that . However you do need a way to get around if you want to visit other food options . There is one good food option on site and they do have a store to make a few things in your room if you want . Colin is running a very good operation and has impressive island knowledge to share . This is a little gem of a resort . Remember you are approx 1.5 hrs from international airport . Very chill place if you just want to lay low and relax perfect spot .

The beach cottage we were in was great. We loved using the kitchen to make a couple meals. The beach was great and we really enjoyed our massages in the gazebo. Unfortunately the hot tub wouldnt heat while we were there and we got bit by a lot of mosquitoes (more than in Soufriere) so make sure you keep up with the bug spray even when at the beach. Overall we enjoyed the room and the beach.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Beach Cottages. The pool was a lovely size for the children and the beach was one of the nicest we visited on the island. The beach floor was flat and smooth and didn’t drop off as some of the other beaches did and it was.right, there! Colin’s local information was very helpful. We enjoyed a fun day trip to Soufriere with a local taxi driver, even though we had rented a car for the duration of our stay.

Property location was great. About an hour and a half drive from the airport to the facility. Staff would do anything you asked! Dining and bar was very nice. Washer/dryer did not work. Was a perfect get away for my Fiancée and I. Would highly recommend.

A perfect peace of Paradise

We spent a wonderful week at The Villa Beach Cottages with Colin and his amazing team of staff. We were met at the airport by Austin who drove us to the accommodation which was very welcome after a long flight and at night on unfamiliar and ‘interesting’ roads. The accommodation was absolutely lovely and it was so nice to fall asleep and wake up to the sound of waves breaking on the beach. We really cannot praise this place too much, it was a lovely place to stay. All of the staff are so friendly, the rooms are large and beautifully furnished, the kitchen is equipped with everything you could want, the pool areas are lovely and the location adjacent to a beautiful deserted beach is just perfect. We hired a car from the accommodation for the week so were able to fully explore the island and we loved our meeting with the owner Colin on the first day where we were welcomed with a rum punch and Colin gave us lots of tips where to go and where to eat and every one was spot on!! Although set in a quiet location, right outside the entrance you can catch the local mini bus that takes you all over the place so we enjoyed lovely evenings out at nearby Rodney Bay and the marina. There is also a restaurant on site which we ate at several times with home cooked food that was delicious. We would 100% recommend Villa Beach Cottages as a perfect place to stay on this beautiful island and definitely intend to return!!!

Property was great quite location between Castries and Rodney Bay. Close enough to both locations by car/taxi to explore, but not right in the action. Beach right on your doorstep, nice pool area, massage and dining available on property. Staff great and always kept room and common areas clean, even surprised us with a honeymoon fruit platter and balloons! Would highly recommend as a base to explore St Lucia if you enjoy your quiet time at the end of the day.

We stayed at Village Beach Cottages at the end of our trip. We had previously stayed at a de other properties at a comparable price point and they fell short. We were so happy with the friendly staff who were a warm welcome and offered us a rum punch and cool to after a very long journey. Our room was clean and the views were pleasant. The beach here is nice and quiet compared to other beaches. We used one of the few kayaks and paddles to the island which was a fun excursion. The little cafe at the hotel doesn’t look like much but the food is actually incredible and feels like having a meal made with love at home. We feel so rejuvenated after a crazy adventurous trip prior to our arrival and only stayed here for a couple of days. I would love to stay longer next time. Thank you to the wonderful staff and owner. You can tell the good vibes start at the top. See you next time!

Villa Beach Cottages is a family-run enterprise is the best sense of the word. You will, even in a short stay, get to know the owner/general manager Colin Hunte and his large staff, who take truly uncommon pride in the property and guest experience. Colin is a walking encyclopedia of St Lucian knowledge, lore, and history. He is truly one of the most extraordinary hoteliers we've encountered in 40 years of travel. We received great and highly personalized advice and support in arranging activities that fit our interests (tennis, food, hiking, birds). The place is a great value at this price with a lovely beach steps away from your front door, and a good, "down home" restaurant on site.

Beautiful solo vacation

This was one of my best vacation to the Carribbean. The staff,acomodations and beach were great. The food and drinks served at CoConuts was delcious. Although I did not have a beachfront cottage it only took less than 3.minutes to reach the beach. I will definitely choose Villa Beach Cottages on my next stay in St. Lucia. Many Thanks to Colin for sharing the history of St. Lucia, VBC and suggesting the perfect itinerary.

It was like a private beach on the Caribbean Sea and the sea kayaks were great to explore with.The house keeping did an amazing job even washed up our coffee cups and breakfast plates.This is the place if you just want the unwind in the beautiful St Lucia sun.

This property was absolutely the perfect place for us. We had everything we could possibly need. We loved the ground floor cottage style. The service was perfect, from reception to housekeeping and maintenance The grounds were very well kept, everything was clean The restaurant made meals for you anytime of the day and would deliver it to your cottage on ceramic plates, no plastic or cardboard plates or utensils or you could eat on the their terrace. They supplied us with a BBQ at our cottage one evening, it was exceptionally clean and functioned beautifully They even did a grocery for us before our arrival, all based on a list we sent to them, so our cottage was fully stocked when we arrived. While you did have to take a taxi everywhere they were available through the reception desk. Even the taxi services were clean and courteous. The beach was beautiful and plenty of beach chairs to be had, and the beach was only 25ft from the cottage.
