I previously stayed at the Waterfront Cebu Hotel and Casino in 2017 and was able to consider how much had changed in that period. The lobby and reception areas are just as impressive as before and the staff always welcoming, polite and accommodating. The facilities for dining remain as excellent as I remember. The swimming pool area is also wonderful. My only slight negative about my experience is my belief that the room was not quite as nice as before and had a somewhat tired appearance and looked liked being in need of redecorating. I was also a little bit disappointed that the windows overlooking the city had not been cleaned for some time. Otherwise, my stay at the Waterfront was very enjoyable and I would recommend this hotel.

The hotel and casino are very very nice..especially the staff. ( 5 stars) however its misleading to say this hotel is “ “Waterfront” it is not on the water aa you would expect with the hotels name!’

I ended up with three different reservations. I was supposed to stay another hotel for two of the reservations, but a transportation issue caused me to change my plans and stay at Waterfront all three nights. The first room we were given had a noise issue. The elevators were nearby and it sounded like they travelling over our room. The next room was good. Waterfront is a good hotel, but there was a constant issue with the internet connection. I stayed at five different hotels during this trip and Waterfront had the worst connection of all of them.

This property shows a gorgeous waterfall it has not beem in operation for over 4 years according to workers when i asked. The stores arent there eithet no Victoria secret and no duty free shop as shown. Room clean amd comfy

Very busy at check- in which despite being pre-paid took 30 minutes to be served. Not enough staff on reception/ Check-in. Facilities are generally good however the pool area was poor, very tired looking needs repainting ng and new surface around the pool also the main feature waterfall was not working I think under renovation. Be aware that this is a convention hotel on our last night a National Lawyers convention started with 4,000 delegates which meant that all the resources were crowded and the staff stretched. For breakfast on the last day the restaurant was so full there where tables spilling into the corridor/ lobby area. I was pleased we were checking out that day

Waterfront casino - dont

It may have been unfortunate timing with chinese new year and graduations but i have NO positives for this accomodation 30 minutes to check in, no wifi (i spent over 4 hours trying to fix this), staff were hideously over worked and untrained, room service was ridiculously expensive ( pizza was soggy, salmon was over cooked) and 30 minutes to check out. Props to manager Michael for trying to help but the corpse had rigor mortis and could not be salvaged. The rooms are old and the decor dated, corridors were filled with noise. I booked a deuxe room and my view was the cooling towers for the air con. Truly dreadful
