“Take it Easy” at this waterfront home and enjoy the breath taking panoramic views of Lake Norman. Located in the middle of an 8 mile stretch of open water at Marker D7, you will be in the perfect position to view and enjoy it all!

Rock your troubles away on the front porch or relax under the gazebo on the private pier...while enjoying the sail boat races hosted by the Lake Norman Yacht Club (located just down the road), or find yourself amused by the antics of those playing on the lake. With plenty of space to sun bathe, play in the water, or relax under the shade of the mature trees...you will never want to leave.

If boating is a favorite past time...bring your boat and put in at the private boat slip located on the property. If you do not have a boat, there are several marinas in the area that rent them by the day. Golfers can enjoy the shores of Lake Norman while playing the courses at Trump National Golf Club, Mallard Head Country Club, or many other courses located in the area. There are many fun attractions and activities to keep your family entertained while visiting!

When you find that you must go inside you will appreciate that the main floor has been updated with an open floor plan to bring your family together. The spacious living room has plenty of cozy seating for large families to spread out and catch a favorite TV show, or engage in a little board game competition. Do not worry about missing your shows while getting a snack or a meal from the kitchen...go sit around the built in island and and watch the 20" under cabinet mounted tv. The island is a great gathering place for family meals or you may prefer a more formal meal in the dining room.

When your family is ready to settle in for the night you will find the upstairs calling your names. The master bedroom has full lake views and a great large balcony. The indoor sitting area beside the gas log fire place is a nice place to unwind before crawling into the king size bed. The master bedroom has two bathrooms...a his and hers for those that like to get ready in their own space (a shower in each). The other two bedrooms upstairs share a “Jack and Jill” bathroom between. This bathroom has plenty of vanity space for getting ready and a regular size bathtub/shower. Bedroom #2 also allows wake up views of the lake from the comfort of the queen size bed. While bedroom #3 doesn't look directly at the water, it is a great room for those that like to sleep a little later...affording a little more privacy and less distraction from the views. This bedroom is a great place for those traveling with kids…built-in twin XL bunk beds and a queen size bed creates a comfortable room for slumber. Ceiling fans, tv's, and cozy bedding are located in all three of the bedrooms.

Want to bring your family dog? No problem! This home is dog friendly and there is even a fenced in area of yard for outdoor play. If Rover or the kids need to be hosed down before coming into the house...no worries! The outdoor enclosed shower is a great place to clean them off - or for you to sneak in a relaxing shower in the outdoors! There is also a bathroom/shower on the main level of the home.

Perfect lake house

Perfect house for a lake vacation. Process was super easy as well as communication with the owner. Everything was provided and they even had floats/toys for the lake. Sitting area on the dock was great with the roof overtop.

Thank you for the most beautiful and relaxing weeks we've had in years. We loved every bit of the view from the still waters of the weekday mornings to the speed boat racing on Saturday. The view was even beautiful in the rain. We had plans to go out, but ended up cancelling them and just enjoyed a slower place to life.

My family stayed here for my daughter’s graduation from Davidson. It was approximately a 20 minute drive to campus however we spent most of the time on the back porch or out by the lake, enjoying the beautiful view. You can’t go wrong with this property!

Fun at the lake

We were in Lake Norman for a family reunion. Four families booked four different homes. Ours was absolutely perfect for our age groups and two doggies! Would definitely book this house again. The hosts were wonderful.

Wondering home with the perfect view

This is a wonderful home, with the best views of the lake. Close to everything but far enough away that it is quiet and peaceful. Great communication from Crissy and the house has everything you need to feel right at home. I will definitely come back in the future.

Great hosts. Home was way better than description. Spacious, quiet, clean, super comfortable and inviting. Kitchen has everything you need for large family meals. Make sure you have the curtains open for sunrise….do not miss the sunrise! You will not want to leave. Will stay again.

The Point on Lake Norman

Great Property and Host

We’ve stayed in the Lake Norman area multiple times over the past few years and this property has by far been our favorite. The home owner Crissy was very nice and very accommodating. She was definitely the most pleasant property owner I've dealt with on VRBO. The home is located in a beautiful neighborhood right on the lake which makes it great for swimming and lake activities. The home itself is spacious and well equipped with just about anything you may need for your stay. It’s well kept, very clean, and well maintained. We just left today and were already talking about planning a larger family gathering back at this property in the future.

Relaxation on the Water

Our family had a wonderful week relaxing on the water and spending time together. We did it all. The most difficult part was choosing how to relax and whether you wanted to kayak, fish, swim, float in the lake or read by the chiminea/fire pit, on the dock, or under the pavilion. We did it all, along with a family game of corn hole and axe throwing! The dogs loved the large enclosed area and it allowed us to enjoy vacation even more. Hardest part was leaving, it was one of the best vacations we've had all together. Thank you for sharing your home!

Perfect in every way

Wish I could rate this 10 stars! The property manager was wonderful, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome and to make sure everything was perfect for our stay. The house was perfect, and oh so clean. Grandkids loved playing in the garage when they weren't out playing in the spacious yard or on our boat. I always wanted his and her bathrooms and two dishwashers, and I got both! It was such a pleasure rocking in the rocking chairs while enjoying the beautiful view. We all had a great stay.

Wonderful Family Lake Weekend

My husband and I treated our daughters, sons-in-law and first grandchild to a family weekend at the lake. The house is beautiful and clean and well-appointed. There were plenty of kayaks and games to play outside and Crissy and Scott are wonderful and thoughtful hosts! Be prepared for the bugs - that’s just part of lake life so bring some repellent. Our only problem was with the size of the beds but both of my sons-in-law are over 6’4”. And we knew going in that there was only 1 king size bed. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend this spot. We’ll be back!!

PERFECT for Davidson College Graduation weekend

Beautiful house; incredible location. My family stayed over the weekend so we could attend graduation at Davidson College. It was the perfect spot. Relaxing location on Lake Norman; a short drive - 20-25 minutes over to Davidson. Everyone was able to be together. So much better than getting a bunch of hotel rooms. Thanks so much!

The pictures are exactly as described but definitely don't do it justice. Communication with Chrissy was excelkent. The fenced in dog yard that could be obtained from the garage was a bonus. The morning and evening views of the sunrise and sunset were glorious. Was a bit too chilly for the adults to be out on the water but didnt stop the teen from paddling around in the provided kayaks and paddle boards. Loved the firepit on our last evening which was the coldest of our nights. We needed a getaway badly and this exceeded expectations. Will definitely be back.

We loved our stay! The view is absolutely amazing! The house was clean, stocked incredibly well, and we enjoyed the extra welcoming gifts. The neighborhood was safe and very dog friendly. We especially loved the fenced in portion of the yard to allow our pups a little off leash play time. Great location to local amenities and a short drive to Charlotte.

The view from the home is beautiful! Walk in and you see water, for me that is peace and joy. Kitchen, whatever I needed, was there. There were snacks there when we arrived. Wonderful neighborhood to walk. Crissy responded quickly with any questions. She is kind and ready to help. 5/5 overall and hope to be back!

Amazing host and awesome location. We stayed over Christmas and the house was beautifully decorated with some type of decoration in every room, table, and bathroom. House was spotless and roomy. Very comfortable and sunny views of the lake, including sunrise and sunset. Will be back!
