I gave this 4 stars for convenience and for the bed and pillows that were very comfortable! But the sink was broke, there was not a safe in the room and the hotel was not fully booked but we were placed in the very back of the hotel. Other than that our stay was pleasant and just needed a couple of updates.

The room was clean and spacious. There were issues getting into our room (our keys and then the main key did not work). They quickly responded and switched rooms. We have stayed here multiple times while our daughter was at UNCC and have been pleased every time.

I have stayed here several times while visiting my son at UNCC. Pros: close to campus, affordable, clean rooms, large dispensers of soap, lotion, etc. (vs. awkward small bottles) Cons: Internet was down for most of my stay and I got no updates on access so missed two deadlines. Coffee urns used to be in lobby but are now behind the reception for a a fee, The site says they now charge for parking, although they didn't (perhaps because occupancy was low). Booths for cafe are really shabby.
