We stay at this hotel whenever we come to town to visit family. We can always count on the room being clean, the staff being friendly and attentive. If you do not enjoy their free breakfasts, there are several coffee and breakfast places within walking distance as well.

We choose this hotel due to breakfast, which was great. Pool is only opened limited hours and closed on Mondays. This was disappointing. HVAC system went down in our room one evening and no maintenance staff there. We unplugged it and waited... Finally started working. Hot breakfast with sausage, bacon, pancakes, scrambled eggs, pancakes, cereal,bagels, toast, juice, coffee, yogurt, fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs.

Room had everything we needed. Service was friendly and efficient. Wish the rates were lower. Had handicap room, able to accommodate a wheelchair, but bed was so high there was no way a person could transfer from their chair to the bed. I was not chair-bound, but had a very hard time getting into the bed. Other than that, I would book a stay there again when in that area.

This property was very nice, clean, and quiet. We had an accessible room which was nice however was not big enough to allow me to maneuver in my wheelchair. The space between bed and furniture needs to be wider. Bathroom was very good. They have lovely dove products (unfortunately I’m allergic but they had no alternatives to offer). The pool is nice but the handicap lift was not functional and the pool water was cold and not comfortable to swim in. The pool room was also cold. Both should be heated better. The area was clean and the bathroom being right next door was nice. The breakfast was great. There was different options each day and the food was good quality. The ladies who work in the breakfast area however were a bit uptight and rude. While they do a good job keeping the area clean and refilling food items we had one of the ladies yell at us because we had forgotten to close the lid on the eggs. Since we are trying to maneuver two plates and me in a wheelchair we thought she could have just came over and closed it for us or at the least asked us in a kinder more understanding tone. We didn’t appreciate being snapped at. Also, breakfast is supposed to be until 9:30. At 9:20 we went for some more food and another family had just come in to get breakfast. We were all told that everything was gone and they weren’t putting out anymore food. If breakfast is until 9:30 then all food should be available until 9:30. Overall we enjoyed our stay but there is room for improvement.

PROS: clean; comfy beds; easy to get to location; varied breakfast that was well attended. Spacious rooms. Quiet surroundings. Hallway cameras. CONS: pool closed randomly. Front desk stated it could only be open when lifeguard on duty. No lifeguard (see attached photo). Staff during breakfast was kind and attentive. Front desk was deplorable.
