I checked into my room at around 11:30 guest services then called my room and changed my room at 3:30 AM very inconvenient after a 13 hour drive the room he then put me in he had just changed someone from that room because they complained about the smell the room was clean and there was no towels he spayed some disinfectant spray that was very loud and choking me when I walked in the room I went to the service desk and asked them. Did he just spray something in the room he said yes there’s a Gas complaining about a smell so I sprayed disaffect spray so that you wouldn’t have a complaint very unprofessional and a lack of communication and customer service. I then spoke with the manager the next morning and explain to her what happened and she did apologize, but unfortunately, she didn’t offer me any kind of discount or anything for my room

Baymont Saved The Day

Check-in was easy. It was a family stay I have traveled with small kids by myself. Their etiquette rules and expectations were very transparent and explained upon check-in. $50 incidentals fee was charged. There are no nasty smells of pot or cigarette smoke. Hallways are very clean and well kept. There is a washer and dryer on the 2nd floor as well as ice/vending machines for a quick snack or drink. At the front desk they offer adult beverages for purchase. The lobby was clean and well maintained. They have video casino machines on their site. The parking lot was clean, ample parking, and is very well lit. Signs regarding lost or stolen property and not being liable are clearly visible in the parking lot. Our room was very clean, comfortable, and spacious for a king sized room accommodation. It’s an older styled building that must have been updated so have some grace for the walls and ceilings. I would stay again. I hope the owner keeps updating and improving this property. I also hope that they don’t let it get ran down and keep up and take pride in the cleanliness of their property. We really appreciate the hard working staff that made this a great stay. About the community it’s tucked off Hwy 294 so super fast access to get around, a small park very close by if you have kids that love to play outside & trail path to walk along the canal, a lot of places to dine along Cicero Ave pizza hotdogs sandwiches etc., and La Stella is a very lovely cafe for coffee.

Older building, older furnishing but the hotel was really clean. The gentleman that checked us in Friday night 5/16 was so kind. He made a really good first impression. The younger ladies were unpleasant and seemed annoyed by anything and everyone. I felt safe and there is good food close by. El Gallo Tapatio is open until 3am. Good food.

Just my experience

The hotel and rooms are really clean. I just found the staff a little rude. Housekeeping just walked in my room without knocking and it was not even check out time. Whenever i went down to the front desk i always had to wait at least 7 to 8 minutes before anyone came out. The weekend manager was a little snobby, I needed to extend my stay an extra day without even checking she instantly told me no they were booked. I walked back to my room got online and booked another day.

Something that has never happened to me before! The bottom sheet slid off the top corner of the mattress on my side of the bed. I tried to put it back on properly but the mattress was too thick for the sheet pocket to fit.

The property was very clean, it felt safe, but I was only there for 6 or 7 hours. One thing I would change would be to add body wash liquid soap dispenser to the shower. Seems petty when I write that, but if you have a shampoo and condiitoner

After calling the hotel couple of hours before we arr, to confirm that they are pet friendly and discussed the pet fee, I booked a room online and when we arrived in the evening they refused to allow us to stay claiming that they only have 4-rooms that allow pets and there's nothing they can do to help us! I drove over 6-hours from Canada and being a senior it was not convenient to hear that from a receptionist who didn't even apologized, or cared about our situation! Not only that, they didn't offer to refund our money and I had to contact Expedia that was very helpful, even though it took another 30+ minutes of our time for the hotel to accept refunding our money! The hotel should've indicated that they have limited numbers of rooms for pets to stay in.
