We showed up and everything was fine till we got to our room. There’s dirty clothes from previews people, bathroom was dirty. 3 towels for a family of 6. No cups for our coffee. Floor had garbage. People drinking and smoking in the pool and although we notified the staff none ever showed up so we left because we felt unsafe.

It was a nice place but it was very noisy. You can hear your neighbors and street noise. Had to make multiple complaints about noise after midnight. The staff apologized many times.

Nice hotel… it’s been in Chicago a long time and starting to show wear and tear. Peeling wallpaper and decorations that are dated. We stayed her 10 years ago and the lobby looks EXACLTY the same. Its in a perfect part of town and a quiet hotel.

The staff was great. Responsive to anything that was needed. My family enjoyed the food from the hotel’s room service, the daily complimentary breakfast and my husband and I the hotel guest’s nightly Happy Hour. We also had fun at the pool. All around nice experience.

We only went to the Shedd aquarium and stayed in the hotel so can’t say much about what’s around in walking distance but the hotel was nice, clean, and the staff was wonderful for all our needs. I would stay again. Family of 5 with three kids under 5.

Partying made it awful unfortunately

I had high hopes for our stay, unfortunately it was a terrible experience... From the time we got off the elevator, we could hear someone's music blaring, which ended up being our neighbor. We spoke to the front desk about it twice and the issue was never resolved. Unfortunately the loud music and screaming and yelling lasted all night, and was still happening when we went down to breakfast this morning too. I cant even count how many people came in and out of that room. We have 2 kids under age 3, so the loud noise and partying made it impossible to get any sleep. Security did address them one time and not again, it never resolved though, I won't be back to this location, it was truly a terrible night.

we discovered in room 820, there is a lot of garbage, food, books, toys, clothes underneath the couches. there were also stains on the blinds in the room. didn’t bother me but was a bit gross.
