Surprised that this hotel gets such a high ranking despite being very basic. Room smelled mildewy upon entry. Cranked the AC and leaving the bathroom fan running to dehumidify. I wasn’t offered the room upgrade I should have had.

Very nice and modern physical building and facilities. Friendly can-do staff. But: • the coffee in the room is terrible, and comes with some awful and dated “creamer” product vs. just having small half-and-half servings. There is no tea as a part of the set-up. Cheap, cheap, cheap. • Housekeeping was VERY slow - obviously just badly understaffed for a big convention/event hotel. They didn’t ever get to our room on the important second morning/afternoon before the wedding we were attending. So, the hotel has a Starbucks where you can buy decent but overpriced coffee, but is WAY behind on having a decent in-room coffee/tea service. Bottom line - some bad choices by the operator on in-room F&B, and on housekeeping staffing.

I'm just accustomed to more amenities. I did not appreciate having to uber to a laundry facility for an almost 5 star hotel. The shuttle should atleast offer to take guests to such places. I think that should be emphasized on the site as 'do not have' laundry facility in house.I usually take photos but I wasn't inspired. Thanks
