Pricing was quite good, staff was friendly and professional. Property and room were run down (e.g. stained carpet, peeling wallpaper, unlocked window on 2nd floor) but the bed sheets seemed clean. I just needed a safe inexpensive place to park, shower, and sleep, and that's what I got. Is go back.

Parking was easy and check in went well. The room was spacious and the TV and A/C-heating unit worked well. the furniture was extremely worn and there was some damage to walls and counters. But the bed was solid/firm and was one of the best I have ever slept on in my 74 years. A real mixed bag.

It showed they had a microwave and a mini fridge in the room. They did not the room wasn’t the cleanest. The sheets were clean. The bed was really hard if you like really firm beds I guess that’s OK. They only have cereal and granola bars for breakfast. They get coffee if you like instant coffee and really strong coffee. If you only need it for a night, I guess it’s OK. Otherwise if you’re gonna be in Chicago for a while, find a better place

How can expedia recommend this place? Seriously, we feared for our lives and left. We would rather sleep in the airport. This is horrible. The photo is misleading. There should be more questionable stains on the floor and cigarette burns in the fabric. Also, it doesn't capture the smell.
