Car broke down- no refund

Our car broke down on our way here and we could not make our reservation. They said they would call us back when we called to let them know and we never heard back from them.

This hotel was not great. The pool/hot tub was closed and the water was drained from the pool. They are still advertising a pool though. You had to walk through the pool area to get to the workout center, which consisted of a bike, some weights, and a treadmill that was unsafe to run on. The ice machine was also broken. Our room was dingy, hot, and the bathroom had stains in the toilet and shower. Behind the door, wall was stained and the pain and trim was peeling and hanging off the wall. The breakfast was terrible and coffee was even worse. Wouldn’t recommend staying here, just move on to another town. We payed $150 plus tax which seems totally outrageous for what we got.

The bathroom is in serios need of having the cauking removed and replaced. The wall behind one of the beds has coffee stains. I've been to this establishment several times and liked the cleanliness of the rooms. Unfortunately this bathroom situation is my biggest problem and I will no longer be staying here.

It’s was a quick stay over night it was clean and the manager and lady was nice. Don’t pet the cat she bites. Lol anyways they were super helpful and I’d stay again. Room was large and there was no bugs which is a plus! They were pet friendly

Room 112 was dirty and had a musty dog smell. One of the queen beds had an obviously dirty comforter with a pee stain in the middle of the bed. The comforter pictures don’t do the dirtiness justice. The laminate flooring had not been swept or mopped, and was sticky to walk on. When we checked out, there was no one at the front desk to talk with concerning our stay, so we dropped our room key in the basket that was provided on the desk and left. This was definitely not a $144/night stay. We’ve stayed at this hotel on prior trips w/o issues, so we’re hoping this was a “one off” experience. Regardless, it definitely gives us pause to select this hotel in the future.

Food spilled in entryway. Drink spilled in elevator. Lobby smelled of take-out food. Animal cracker and alarm clock behind bedside table. Pubic hairs in the bathtub. Cleaning staff woke us at 8:13 am to see if we were still there. Building is seedy.

Nice rooms, and quiet. The bathtub seems to need a good scrub. Good selection at breakfast and the food was good, but the milk they had out was definitely spoiled. All in all, not a bad stay, not a great stay.

We fell in love with Comfort Inn several years ago and thought the Quality Inn is in the Choice Hotel family, so we will stay here, instead of driving longer to find a Comfort Inn. HUGE mistake. The room was as if someone had lived in it and never got cleaned. Toilet had pee all over it, floor had black hair all over it, microwave had something spilled in it, fridge had crumbs in it, counters were filthy, something splashed on the wall. They wouldn’t answer the phone, so I went down and told them to give me some cleaning wipes, and I would clean it myself. It took me a good 45 minutes to clean. I cleaned the doorknobs, light switches, window sills, air conditioners, in addition to the appliances, bathroom, floor, wall, tables and sinks. The only thing I didn’t do was the carpet, so we made sure to keep our shoes on.The lotion was also used already. I was so tired and just wanted to sleep, so I didn’t even think to take pictures before I cleaned or I might have been able to get a refund. The night clerk gave me a brand new container of cleaning wipes, and I gave them back with less than half left in the large container. On top of that, I got on Hotels.com to get a cheaper rate. They charged me one price and the hotel clerk said it would have been a lot less,if I had gone straight through the hotel. So twice we got hit. Hotels.com tried to get me a refund, but since the hotel wouldn’t answer the phone, they said sorry, no refund. So, we were hit three times on this
