TV didn't work because of IT issues during our stay. Unable to get receipt because of IT issues. Internet access was marginal. Too big of a business to have simple technical issues that negatively affect the quality of the guest experience. Room was nice.

I love the staff! We chose the Golden nugget because we knew we’d get a nice room. But The girls are wonderful and go out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The price is perfect every time. While we we there 3 times in 2 weeks, the TV didn’t work because of an issue with direct tv. Hoping they get resolved before we go back. Otherwise we highly recommend!

The bed was really hard and the pillows were very small and flat. Additionally, there was not a dish for the round soap in the bathroom and no makeup remover pads or other bathroom aids. Overall, disappointed in their bedding. We woke up with sore backs this morning despite paying $200.00 plus for the night…

The Casino is a quick walk from the hotel, but if you want to go anywhere else in Cripple Creek, there is no shuttle service provided, and ridesharing is pricey for a short trip into town. The Golden Nugget is at the top of a hill on the outskirts, and to walk into town would be challenging, especially on the walk back uphill at night. Cripple Creek is charming, and the rooms are decent. The only issue we encountered in the 2 times we stayed here (over a 2 month period) was that the TV didn't work. When we called the front desk, we were told they are switching to new technology, and we were there during a "transition" phase" so nothing could be done since the IT guy wouldn't be in until the morning or we could try turning the TV on and off a few times to see if that helped (it didn't) The casino is fun and convenient to the hotel.

To start with, the room was dirty, from the floors to the sink. The TV only had one channel and that channel was scrambled, not clear. The refrigerator did not work and the sink faucet was broke. The maintenance/IT guy threw a major tantrum in front of us and deck staff. And the bed sheets were so starchy that we ended up checking out early so we can get home to our own home and bed. The only good part about it is the desk. Staff was very apologetic and did make an attempt to get someone clean the room and apologize for the guy who threw the fit for having to fix stuff.

The room was great. Very clean and comfortable. Someone dumped a cup of coffee all over our white car during the night which we woke to Saturday morning but staff gave us rags and water to wash our car and security promised to look thru the tapes to see who had done this for no reason.

Didn’t like the parking set up around the back of hotel. Didn’t like we had to walk across road in cold to play in casino. The staff wasn’t super friendly or helpful. The rooms were super nice & comfy. We had laundry outside our room from time we got there until we left! It’s like they started cleaning room & left.
