I wouldn’t want to stay again

We have stayed here before so i knew the rooms were outdated but before it was cleaner and it seemed decent. But now it was just ok like I wouldn’t want to stay there again. It was quite except we heard they high way traffic every so often, not a huge deal if you could use the tv to drown the sound out. The tv didnt work we informed the front desk and they were going to send a “technician” up and they never did. The bed comforter had burn holes in our non smoking room. The towels were clean but stained up. It had trash behind the mini fridge and an empty toilet paper roll on the floor in the bathroom all upon checking in. The floor turned my clean white socks dirty. And it was dusty. But positive we didn’t see any bugs of any kind and it was a place to keep us dry and let us sleep.

I should’ve took a picture of the vending machine. Bag of Fritos was the only snack item to pick from. Lol My electronic key card stopped working the next morning. I told the office about it and she said it was supposed to stop working in the morning, you only paid for 1 night. lol

You get what you pay for

Furniture was outdated and beat up. No phone, no iron. Carpet was sticky and should be removed. Bathroom was newly remodeled but vent was loud and obviously not changed. I wish I would have looked at the room before booking, it was disgusting.

Frightening Red Roof Inn experience

Our family booked two rooms for two nights. After midnight (!) the first night, there were two phone calls and a loud banging on our door. There was a clerical overbooking error (not our fault). We (especially my girls) were freaked out, and we barely slept the rest of the night. We cancelled the second night, which they did not charge us for. They offered NO compensation for the sleepless first night. We tried to sort it out with the management, but they accused us of blackmail when I said I would have to speak with hotels.com and Red Roof customer relations and leave a review about our entire experience. I explained that I always leave reviews when we have had a very positive or very negative experience. Needless to say, this was a very negative experience. Take it for what you will. Our room was clean, but my daughters’ room had a sticky floor with something in the sink. We will never stay at a Red Roof Inn again. We are still waiting to hear back from Red Roof Inn customer relations, so I can update this review when I learn more.

I travel alone, so I didn't know about the 2nd building my room was in. Walking up to the 2nd floor outside in the dark I didn't appreciate. The tv wouldn't work until I tried to see if the batteries were good, then it turned on. Called the desk, no answer. I saw online, there was breakfast but there was only coffee. Don't advertise it if you're not providing it.
