Great Stay!

We booked last minute but the hosts were amazing and immediately communicative. We had a whole downstairs suite with two rooms and a kitchenette and it was very welcoming and comfortable. We loved every minute of it and would highly recommend to anyone in the area!

We had a fantastic 1 night stay before heading to the Wrangell St Elias Visitor Center (few minutes drive). It’s a great starting spot for driving the McCarthy road. The rooms were perfect. The hosts were wonderful and offered great advice for things to do and places to eat. Their house is beautiful!

A Gem in the Wilderness

This is my second time staying here. The folks are great and the accommodations are spectacular! If you're driving from Anchorage to McCarthy...this is a great place to stay and break up the long drive. Plus...you're only minutes from Grizzly Pizza you may have seen on TV!

It's the bottom level of a home. It's a small apartment, basically. Very nice, quiet, private. Alaskan Hares playing outside the window, so cute. Old Town/ Nummys has great food just a couple of miles away.

Our stay at the cabin was brief, but was exactly what we needed. It was clean, comfortable and provided facilities to fix our meals and prep for our shuttle to Kennicott and overnight stay there. It was so very convenient that the shuttle picked up at the property and that we were able to leave our car overnight. I had so many questions and the host was very responsive.
