The staff was great. The rooms could have been better. Our room was not cool at all despite running the ac at full blast and my daughter got a room that was not even clean. Had to wait for the room to be cleaned but instead was given a new room.

Perfect for our needs.

It was perfect for the price, it was clean and fresh. Parking was not so great. But overall it was great. Even had a nice view of the park and water.

Staff was great and room was clean. It’s an older motel and on one side where rooms are located you have to park on the opposite side and carry your luggage around or walk around. Depending on how much luggage you have is the only drawback. Also there’s no bathtubs in any of the rooms if you have any little ones.

I loved the staff, very friendly. I liked the idea to take to room due to not having a microwave to cook or warmup milk or oatmeal The pool had mold and Allie due to no maintenance of it. Water was not clear. (Didn’t go into it) The bed was not made for us until asked to. I had a nice time in town, being at the beach near by.

We've stayed here multiple times and it seems maybe there's a little less care being taken for the place every time we come back. Our comforter had a bunch of stains on it, our coffee maker was missing the piece for the filter, and the pool was dark green. There was broken glass in the parking lot (I didn't notice it until a piece of glass went through my sandals and into my foot). The breakfast was good, the beds were comfortable and overall it was quiet. The location is by far the biggest perk as it sits right across the beach, close to the square and multiple restaurants. I just think there needs to be some better quality control, I don't think anyone's walking the grounds.

I debated on how to rate the hotel. The property is quiet and well-located for the attractions around Rockport. However, the door to my room is rusted, which at first caused concerns for safety. The room itself was clean, but it had a VERY strong smell of Fabuloso cleaner. I use a CPAP machine and that absorbed the smell and I couldn't use it while staying there. Unlike other hotels where I've recently stayed at, the TV in the room only had basic cable, which is not the worst thing in the world, but frustrating when one is unable to sleep. Once a young woman knocked on the door, never introduced herself as a housekeeper, but it was obvious my the cart she was pushing what she was doing. An announcement would've been nice. The other housekeepers were very friendly, helpful and professional. The walk-in shower doesn't have a handle or rail to hold on to when stepping out, which can be a safety issue. Lastly, my keys were not set up for the full-time I was there, which I don't understand. I learned this when I returned from the store carrying several heavy bags and my door wouldn't open. This just added to my frustration with this place. Considering all this, the overall price was a bit high compared to other properties.

Quick Fishing Trip in ROckport

It was just a quick overnight stay, fishing in the evening and again in the morning. Breakfast was abysmal- toast, bagels, cereal and waffles. They were out of cream cheese for the bagels, and butter for the toast. Thankfully, McDonalds is within eyesight of the parking lot!
