Just a bit worn down, bathroom a bit dingy, fridge had no freezer. The only ice machine was not working properly and the staff member I told about it didn’t really seem to care. For a resort type area I was basically unimpressed with the hotel and thought it was going to be nicer.

Although we prefer a King bed, and prefer an elevator, we took the stairs to our assigned queen bed because this Quality Inn's location is what made this place desirable. Such a good deal-- a better view than many places priced much higher. The place is naturally weathered, but is kept clean enough, and quiet. Staff were very pleasant and welcoming. The evening and morning on the fishing pier were a uniquely fun treat. The Breakfast room is nice, the server re-filling as needed, and pleasantly. Perhaps some Bran Flakes, please, instead of the sugary cereals that seem to predominate Texas. Just a nice relaxing spot that we wished we could stay at longer. Wish I could add pix. Definitely would stay here again.

Neighbors were too loud at 2am and i couldnt complain because phone didnt work. Room was dirty, things were broken or missing. Needs a thorough cleaning and to be remodeled to give more furniture to out belongings on.

Nice breakfast, Diana the girl that hosts the breakfast keeps it going well. Meagan the night shift girl is awesome. Mary Jo from the front desk always greets with a smile and Brooke the manager does a great job running this nice clean property. I don’t remember the names of housekeeping and other staff but they are friendly and helpful as well
