Room was clean. Info desk were friendly. Our only complaint is the bathroom exhaust did not work. Dining was close by and plenty of parking. Decent place for rest.

I recently stayed at your hotel with my family. Despite it being an older establishment, it is well-maintained, and we had a pleasant experience overall. We chose this hotel primarily because of the pool, which we confirmed was operational a day before our arrival. To our disappointment, the pool was closed when we arrived. I have two daughters, aged 13 and 6, who were eagerly looking forward to swimming. Although we used the hot tub, they much preferred the pool. This was a significant letdown for them. Given the miscommunication regarding the pool, I would appreciate it if you could consider offering us a discount for this inconvenience. We would be happy to stay here again in the future.

Great stay!

The place is an older building but you can definitely tell that they've put the work in to update the place. I've gotta say though, my absolute favorite thing is they have a security gaurd walking around the parking lot at night to watch the cars! Thank you for making our stay feel safe!

A nice place to stay, despite freeway noise

Nice one bedroom suite, but the freeway-facing bedrooms should be fitted with triple-paned windows for reduced freeway noise. Noise and cold air also came from the bottom of the door. The heating in the bedroom was excellent, but the heater in the living-dining area kept blowing out cold air. The taps did not provide hot water, and the one in the kitchen never got hot or even very warm The kitchen faucet also leaked. I was also disappointed that the pool was closed for maintenance. It would be nice if the gym was brighter and lighter. As such, it feels cramped and dark, like a basement gym in someone’s home. Now the good. The one bedroom suite was spacious. The. Cooking facilities were good. The king size bed was comfortable. The TV had a good range of stations. The free parking is a huge plus. The location is fabulously convenient, close to shopping and nice walking paths and the ferry to San Francisco. We were lucky to have a lovely Mt. Tam view from the living-dining room. Hotel staff are nice and helpful. We would stay here again.

We enjoyed the hot tub, the aesthetics of the property, the fun access to lawn games like corn-hole and the giant "connect 4" game. The protected resting area with the fire mantle was very nice as well

I drove 8 hrs to the hotel. When I arrived it was about 730ish. There was no one at the desk. A sign was there stating the employee would be back in 10 mins. The employee eventually returns & checks me in. My room was very spacious. It felt like a large one bedroom/1 bath apartment vs a hotel suite. Anyways, I noticed there was a dead spider in the shower, but everything else was ok. What I didnt like was how the hotel would send emails offering extra services for an additional cost. These are services that customer should be able to select when choosing a room. I just feel like it nickel & dimes customers when the emails are sent out randomly. I did partake in the late check out despite the exurberant fee of $30. I did a morning hike thinking my check out time was 130pm vs noon. Well I return to the hotel at 1245 & my room keys dont work. The lady working the desk didnt understand english very well (language barrier) but everything was fixed. She said someone said I wasnt in the room. But my stuff was still in it. That didnt make any sense to me, but whatever. If you are in Marin County & need a place to stay, Marin Hotel will suffice for the night. Just make sure the bathroom doesnt have any spiders & your check out time is what it is supposed to be w/o your room key being deactivated.

Hotel needs updating and better maintenance

Unfortunately this hotel has become super out dated. The room smelled bad, like old carpet and a smelly bathroom. The courtyard lights were very bright through the shutters all night. The courtyard area is beautiful so I am bummed because o really wanted to like this hotel.
