In definite need of updating and repairs

Our room at the Days Inn in Cortez was not good at all. Well actually the bed was pretty decent. But the rest of the room was shabby and smelled bad. There were big stains on the carpet. I don’t even want to think about what that might have been. The paint was peeling on the bathtub and tiles were missing. It didn’t look anything like the pictures. I think it must have been a nice hotel 15-20 years ago and they just haven’t upgraded anything. If I hadn’t been so tired from driving all day I wouldn’t have accepted the room once I saw it.
