My room was clean and comfortable. I had a refrigerator in my room but I would have liked a microwave too. The only noise was from Costa Mesa Police Department. They were arresting a woman in the room next door to me...don't know what that was about. I will stay at this Motel 6 in the future.

Someone hacked into my Expedia account, booked this hotel “Motel 6 Costa Mesa” through my account and used all of my Expedia points to pay for the hotel. I contacted Experia and the hotel. Both were fantastic helping me resolve this. The Costa Mesa Police were contacted and hopefully they arrested a “Beth Naill” who used my Expedia account to stay at this hotel.

Too pricey for the accomodations! It's not worth $100 a night! Not sure who determines pricing when it comes to hotels but they should be fired. A full room means money! Dream all you want,but it's kinda funny!

My friend and I came for a concert and just needed to stay one night. The room itself was great, very clean and comfortable. However, during our stay, the room was not very sound proof and we could hear our room neighbors moving furniture and the property was fairly noisy. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.

I SEE THAT THEY RENOVATED THE FACILITIES. IT'S BEEN ABOUT 2 YEARS SINCE I STAYED THERE. ONE THING THAT I WOULD LIKE TO SAY-BEFORE THERE WERE MICROWAVE OVENS IN THE ROOMS-PRIOR TO THE REMODEL. WENT TO THE FRONT DESK, AS THAT'S NO LONGER THE CASE. I KINDA MISS THE MICROWAVE OVEN.

Horrible never again

There was no staff physically and the one that was there spoke to me in a rude manner telling me i needed to deal with the virtual person. He also reported he was off the clock and that he was not there nor did he see me. It was hard to understand the person virtually, hard to to check in. One of the beds had hairs all over and dirt stains.

Liked the renovated room. Felt clean and comfortable and convenient location to where I work. Lights and plugs and usb port next to the headboard did not work but the lighting in the rest of the room was more than sufficient so it didn’t bother me that much Bathroom was lovely. Would stay again.

Well the room was nice with upgrades but that was it. The room above me was moving furniture and tables, stomping hard on the floor could not get any sleep in that room maybe hour at most, And being that my line of work as code enforcement officer that room needs pest control multiplied Cockroaches on the floor on the headboard and crawling on the floor. For being in Costa Mesa I was Expecting a little more. I reported this to night staff on check out on 10/5/25. Would not stay hear again. May reach out to Motel 6 corporate!

This property was an Absolutely disgusting property in all areas and infested with roaches and nasty blood marks were found in BOTH of my rooms after requesting a room change. I had to be moved to 3 separate rooms. Then when im walking down the stairs some random homeless guy asks me where to find weed at. This is a Disrespectful, disgraceful, disgusting property and if you have any standards - follow my review and steer clear of this property by all means. Oh and the virtual check in was so unprofessional and annoying, they laughed at me for coming back for a problem their clients company needs to fix.That third party company is not an addition to the hotel it actually makes it feel cheaper and like management is cutting corners to avoid having an employee there for safety and concerns throughout the night.
