This is my second stay at The MyPlace Hotel in Council Bluffs. The first was while visiting the Henry Doorly Zoo, and this instance was while traveling through to Kansas City. Both stays have been exceptional. First, the price is very reasonable. Secondly, it is very accessible off I29. The check-in has been very efficient and the staff are friendly and attentive. We are typically traveling with 3 kids and we’ve found the space of the room to be great for our family and the ability to have connecting rooms is a huge benefit. The small kitchenette is a nice option for keeping refreshments or cooking light dinners. If cooking isn’t your vibe, there is a Casey’s down the road which allows for a quick, family friendly pizza party or a nearby movie theater and other establishments. The rooms are clean and beds are reasonably comfortable. To be clear: this is not a high-end brand with lavish amenities, but we have been very comfortable and much prefer investing in activities & experiences vs. lodging. Parking is free and ample.

It was a nice room, it could have been cleaned a bit better from the previous guests. There was still balloons and confetti on the floor. We also requested a playpen/crib and never got one. The staff was friendly enough.

Best customer service ever. I arrived after an awful experience at Best Western and Merredith was so hospitable and accommodating. The bed was sooo comfortable. We weren’t they’re for longer than a shower and a sleep but Everything was clean and working, people were friendly and I felt safe. Mission accomplished, would highly recommend!

The room was clean and comfortable. Great bedding. The hotel does not provide dish soap, frying pans, cutlery, or glassware, but a toaster is provided. Great mini kitchen. Just be prepared to bring your own kitchen supplies. Hotel was quiet, laundry is reasonably priced at $1.50 per cyle, machines worked well. Kind staff at all hours of the day. I’d stay here again.

Our room was on the fourth floor, but had a lot of road traffic and highway noise. It was spacious and clean enough, but not one single plastic utensil was in the kitchen. Would stay again, but would come better prepared.

There were no light bulbs in the lamp. The kitchenette outlets didnt work. The lady who checked us in wrote the wrong room number on our cards. Windows were also drafty. Other than that it was clean. Check in was quick.
