I’ll start with the positives: the staff was very friendly, and the housekeeping team was respectful and attentive. They never entered without knocking and made sure I had fresh towels every day, which I really appreciated. Unfortunately, my experience quickly went downhill. My first room had mold growing both inside and outside the window, apparently due to damage from a gunshot. To their credit, the front desk immediately moved me to another room on the second floor, which was clean and free of mold. However, once the evening hit, the noise issues began. The guests above me were extremely loud—running, stomping, and dragging furniture late into the night, sometimes until midnight or later. For the next two days, it was the same constant noise and loud music. While the front desk would get them to quiet down temporarily when I complained, the noise always returned within an hour. On my last night, the situation was even worse: the neighbors next door blasted music until 6 AM, while the upstairs guests kept up their stomping past 1 AM. I had an early flight and barely got any sleep. On top of that, the parking lot at night didn’t feel safe, with homeless individuals camping out. At one point, I couldn’t even walk next door for food without a car pulling up to solicit me. Overall, I would not recommend staying here. Despite the kind staff, the noise, safety concerns, and general environment made this a very unpleasant experience.

From start to finish this hotel stay was a fiasco. The workers are illiterate and rude. There were prostitutes walking through the parking lot. They charged me for smoking when no one in our group smokes. We definitely don’t recommend, nor will we be back.

Let’s talk about the “Queen” beds. The beds are full size. Nowhere near a queen. The king room was amazing! Housekeeping was very friendly. I will say they will clean everyday to make sure the hotel does not seem dirty. It does no good because the people on the third floor smokes cigarettes around their kids. That causes the whole floor to smell bad. You will hear the kids screaming like they’re getting beat on everyday. Everything was cool until one employee threw my state ID at me. After telling the general manager he started to be more friendly. Do not book room 386. It has mold on the window which made the room smell sour. When I asked the switch the general manager played like he didn’t know it was mold. Before switching to the room I was in 388. 388 had a problem with black ants coming in from the window. All the employees do is sit there and talk on the phone acting like they do not see people in the lobby. The girl with the mask was having a whole argument and cursing while I was sitting in the lobby. The dude that works overnight walked off from the desk to go get In N Out. A new customer came in while he was at In N Out and stood there for 10 minutes before he came back. I was informed nobody can leave the front desk if the manager was not there. The manager wasn’t in at the time when he left. The dryers in the hotel does not work. The ceiling is about to fall in the wash room. There is one creep that walks around the whole hotel with just a towel on.

Room 1: had a ginormous cockroach and the toilet roll had literal faeces on it immediately at check in. All was documented. I was then moved to another room. Room 2: water from the bathtub didnt drain and the microwave didnt work. When these issues were brought up to the manager/owner, he said he would refund me one day, and then would refund the full amount from Expedia's side IF expedia approved it. Expedia called, he said no we don't do refunds. They emailed me about it saying he refused to give them their money. I called them, they said theyd call me back, but as expected they didnt call me back. I cant make personal remarks towards any individuals, but what I will say is I have lived in a civil war where i was held at gunpoint, shot at multiple times, my school was bombed, and my apartment was hit by a missile. Im frankly fortunate to have left there with a few scars and PTSD. And id go back there in a heartbeat before booking at this establishment again. TO BE CLEAR: If he said no refund at the start id have no issues. The fact the promise was not kept is my issue.

Very disappointed with, had previously stayed here because of comfort and closeness to Medical City but, this time our stay was not satisfactory. As soon as we entered the building, receptionist was not attentive. He was on his phone and didn’t even acknowledged our presence. As soon as we walked into the double doors cigarette smoke was overwhelming. All over the hallways smelled like drug smoke. Never staying here again.
