The toilet in our room shot a bit of water in the air each time you flushed and made a concerning rattling noise. The bath tub did not drain so we called maintenance and it was fixed. The carpet in the halls was dirty and the hotel felt kinda old. Our room got missed for daily service one of the days but the other day was completed. The wifi was down the first day but then a temporary wifi was availabile. The room itself had a good amount of space and nice fridge/microwave.

Shabby! Bedspread looked WORN AND OLD. When the AC would stop running, it made a terrible loud noise! Room not very CLEAN. LOCATION IS EXCELLENT.

We got on late due to a flight delay. The first room we were given we pulled the sheets and had bed bugs. We went to the counter and were given another room that smelled like sewage. As tired as we were we just went to sleep instead of switching rooms again. We had maintenance come up and they said it was in the drains. They pored a ton of drain cleaner but the smell continued the whole stay. I had a crazy headache almost the whole stay from the smell. The front desk was concerned about the bed bugs but not as concerned about the sewage smell. They appologized but didn't comp anything. Breakfast was $18 and we watched them give vouchers out to other people. Not that we needed breakfast because we we're staying at the hotel for a conference across the street but an offer would have been nice. The workout room had limited equipment working. One treadmill was down the other did not connect to the tv. The eliptical i used would randomly shut off during the workout. The tv would in the workout facility would not turn on to any station. If you're looking for a room with limited amenities in downtown this may be good, but check your beds before you are ok to stay. We had to uber everywhere to eat nothing is really close in waking distant and there are homeless people living under the bridge across the street. I would not recommend this hotel or stay here again.

Overall, we had a nice stay but the walls were paper-thin and you could hear- cough- everything going on in the room next door. The toilets were very loud too. But the gym and pool were excellent, and the staff wonderful! The breakfast is way overpriced though (18 USD for basic fruit, yogurt, toast, eggs etc.). I wish they had an airport shuttle- the desk set us up with a driver and we hoped it was complimentary but it ended up being $60 USD (85 CAD) where an uber was only 35 USD. We were a bit shocked by the price of how much everything cost us… the sticker shock of the shuttle was not a great last impression, and the driver swore the whole time. Ah well, overall a decent stay!

Find a better place

The hotel is very dated, has no drawers to put your clothes in when you’re staying for a week the TV is very dim and old, bath tub is rusty, outlets and USB didn’t work next to the bed and for the size of this hotel they only have 1 luggage cart. The employee working in the morning was inconvenienced if she had to help anyone. Walked up to counter and she could care less just continued on her phone. Not helpful at all.
