Staff nice and friendly. Rooms clean, but property dated. Had trouble with cable TV, and soaps in bathroom weren’t filled, but it was rectified right away. No smoking on the balcony, but there were several cigarette butts on it. Parking difficult for a large vehicle (i.e., full-sized truck). My rental car suffered damage from someone who opened their door into mine. Great location and walking distance to beach and many restaurants. I would stay there again, knowing the limitations.

Bring your nose plugs.

Second time staying at this hotel as our first experience was good. We arrived 15 minutes before check in and were told that a $25 early check in fee was going to be applied. I declined and waited in my car for 15 minutes. I should have known that it was going downhill from there. Got to the room opened the door and our sense of smell was assaulted by funk stail air. Turned the AC on opened the sliding glass door to air out the room. Opened up the fridge and it smelled like something died in it. Good thing we only stayed 2 nights/1day. If Cleanliness is not high on your standards then this place is for you.

Good choice for Dana Point Harbor

Good location with view of the ocean through the trees from some rooms. Very spacious suites with refrigerator. No microwave, which would be nice. Partial room servicing each day which was fine. Several restaurants are close by, with a short walk to Dana Point Harbor area. Some items/areas could use a decor refresh - for example our jetted tub was a bit stained. Breakfast was good. Extra $10 per day charge for parking

Fun Weekend Stop!

GREAT location, they were VERY kind, breakfast looked great though we went out to eat on the water. The only problem is one of the rooms REEKED of smoke and chemicals like they had tried to cover the smoke smell. But they were VERY QUICK to give us another room which smelled perfectly glorious.

This is an older property, rooms are a little dated but spotless! Front desk staff are amazing and you can't beat the location. Close to the marina, beaches and great restaurants. Will definitely stay here again!
