There was an extension cord with items plugged in the two year old found. Most everything else was good. WI-FI issues that were worked out. The house was set up perfectly for our family.

Lovely, with a few problems

The property is nice, the layout is great, and the location awesome. It was great overall. Disappointing: the hot tub water was not clean and not suitable for use. The grill was out of propopaine and we could have used more towels. We brought 4 teens who would have loved a dip in the hot tub and we were planning to grill the first night. But we loved the great room, the separate bedrooms and bathrooms. And the location close to Tumberline Mountain was super.

Nice Property, Great Location with Cleaning Fee Questionable.

Property was nicely laid out and provided plenty of room for each family member to have space. The home was sparsely equipped with linens and cooking supplies, which is not unusual due to the volume of usage said supplies undergo. The cleaning fee was slightly exaggerated for the cleanliness of the property. Upon arrival we wiped all surfaces and was surprised at the dirt that remained. We found mouse droppings in serval drawers and cabinets and felt the need to wash all linens and dishes prior to each use. Thankfully we packed lots of paper products and didn't use many of the household items provided. Heat and hot water were perfect and sufficient for our family gathering. That being said, we would stay in this property again with the understanding that our cleaning fee really didn't provide the cleaning expected.

Perfect place for a family get together!

Very convenient 4 bed, 4 bath home with large, open kitchen - living area. Perfect for a group who likes to cook gourmet meals! Hot tub was a plus! Relaxing vacation, with plenty of outdoor exercise for those who want it. Easy access to Dolly Sods trails.

Needs work and uodates. Fridge did not start keeping meats cold and roof leaked. False advertisement

Looked a lot bigger in pictures (and cleaner). Cob webs, dirty bathrooms and dirty dishes. Cabinets broke, windows missjng screens, one tv didnt work, one bathroom had no hot water, roof leaked onto sofa, two of the bunk beds were broke also. Ice maker did not work for first 3 days and would not make items cold for 2 days in. Had to call THREE times for someone to come over to look at items needing attention. Screen was off back sliding doors. Back yard was messy with plastic silverware and garbage. Front of house had old fruit rinds thrown all around. Hardly no lighting. Light fixtures that did work had burnt out light bulbs. Would not fit 16 comfortably. Very unsatisfied by all. Will not be returning. Front gate guards were very pleasant and helpful from timberland.

Great Experience

The Cabin is laid out perfectly for large groups. All four bedrooms have their own private bathroom, so it is very private. Awesome wrap around couch that seats close to 10 people. Beautiful property! Nice kitchen and dinning table. All round great cabin and great experience.

Lovely cabin with a lot of privacy but could use some updates

We had a group of 14 adults from our church group stay for a weekend in March. Easy to find, lovely cabin. Would stay again, however the bunk beds were terribly uncomfortable and the whole cabin needs a clean down from cob webs and the ceiling fan was covered in dust. Just minor changes to accommodating paying guests. Perfect for large group but if you are planning on having adults sleep in the bunk beds, prepare yourself for a sleepless night

Black Mold!!!

I'm giving this property 3 stars because, had it not been for the Black Mold growing on every bedroom's blinds, It was the perfect fit for my family (there were 16 of us - 4 families). Also, the property advertised gas fireplace, gas grill and a Hot Tub. When we arrived, no gas what-so-ever! Fireplace - OUT! Grill - OUT! Hot Tub - not working! They did send someone out, within the hour of calling, to give us propane tanks. I feel this property is the victim of poor management. I can deal with no gas, that can be easily fixed, but the black mold is NOT SAFE! It covered the back of the blinds, and there were icicles and frost growing on the inside of the windows (obviously a seal problem that needs to be fixed)! On a positive note, we had a great time and the property is beautiful (It was a winter wonderland)! I suggest the homeowner find new management.

Great cabin in a beautiful neighborhood.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Mountain Treat. We were at capacity (16 people) and it didn't feel terribly crowded. The cabin is situated very close to Timberline, but even better for us, it's close to many of the trails that run through and around the woods there. We hiked several miles with friends and enjoyed the views. My only criticism is that there were a couple of things missing that would have been good to know about. There was no laundry detergent or paper towels, and very little toilet paper, so be sure to bring your own.

Wonderful getaway for our young families!!

We had 4 families with young kids. Each family had their own bedroom and their own bath. The kids played in the woods, we went on hikes, and roasted marshmallows by the campfire. We really felt like we were by ourselves in nature. This was the perfect place for us and we are already planning a return trip.
