Was a signed to a handicapped room. I’m not handicapped. Bathroom had bad odor in it at first upon arrival. Tv outdated and didn’t offer all the channels their printed guide said it did. Parking limitations and they didn’t enforce proper parking either because in the morning it was nearly impossible to exit the second level parking because someone parked a large oversized truck in a no parking area. Air conditioner in room was loud. Hotel? Yes. Resort? I think not. Smallest tv in a room I have seen in years. Charged $30a day resort fee, why? No idea. I saw no amenities that warranted it and that doesn’t include a free breakfast. Booked this thru Expedia so I had no idea about a resort fee. Boooo on you Expedia.

The cleaning staff only came once. We stayed for a whole week. The ice machine was broken. One of the elevators was broken. The hotel staff tacked on extra fees we weren’t expecting when we arrived for check in. So, be cautious of that. The staff person we talked to when checking in was rude and talked to me like I was stupid when I disputed the extra fees. We had nowhere else we could stay on such short notice due to a major event going on in the area that was keeping the hotels booked. So, we had no choice but to pay the fees. The exterior of the hotel is a little run down and outdated. But, the room was clean.

It is an older dated property. The staff is very nice. The rooms could use a redo. Carpet is looking like it’s been a few years. Overall it’s not a bad place. It is off the beach and had a nice pool. The night we were there it had live music on the patio. Dinner was good. Staff was very helpful. Honestly a good place to stay just expect it’s not top of the line. For the price it is a good place to stay and enjoy the beach.
