The Nautilus was located within easy reach of a bridge over the Halifax River, making it convenient for driving to and from many locations. The location was flanked by some empty resort/hotel lots, so I imagine at some point, there’s gonna be construction happening on either side? But that won’t affect the ocean views. As for views, the position of this hotel is excellent for ocean views! Especially sunrises. We will be back, probably every year for vacation, and will more than likely stay at the Nautilus. The staff was superb and very friendly and helpful. The place always smelled wonderful and even with pool traffic, the floors were clean and dry. The pool was great and while the beach access gate was tedious sometimes with key card access, the entire experience was outstanding.

Ocean front rooms are beautiful. View is amazing kitchen size is just right. Main lobby is very nice. Staff is always happy to help. Outdoor pool area is like a mini large resort feel. We can’t wait to return.

Excellent weekend stay! Kitchenette was perfect, room was clean and smelled nice. AC worked, VERY well! Comfortable beds and the beach was excellent... Key cards were a bit of a pain, but if you tried enough times, it worked eventually. Overall, no complaints! I would definitely stay here again.

Overall we really liked this place. Other than a constant battle of never enough provided towels (there was **ALWAYS** a wait on them), Nautilus Inn was excellent for our Daytona Beach experience. Every room offers a beach view (some rooms a better view than others but nevertheless, every room has a view). Loved the private beach access also.
