Spacious 1- bedroom apartment sleeps 4 in vintage home built in 1875, in beautiful Historic Downtown Golden, Colorado. This apartment has its own entrance. It is bright, sunny and very clean. Master bedroom has a queen size bed with pillow top, full bathroom with shower and bathtub, full kitchen with all the amenities you have at home. Smart TV's with Direct TV in living room and bedroom, that you can add your own Netflix, Prime, Hulu or any streaming you have at home. DVD player in living room, WiFi and cable included. Comfortable queen sleeper sofa with extra thick memory foam mattress sleeps two. Sun room to sit in to play games or enjoy a good book. Enclosed patio includes swing, dining set, and gas propane grill which will be kept full by the owner. I have smoke detectors and CO detectors, also fire extinguisher to keep you safe. Within 2 blocks walking distance from Historic Downtown Golden, close to restaurants, parks, breweries, theater, Coors and Colorado School of Mines. Across the street from Clear Creek where you can kayak or tube or rent an electric bike on those warm Golden days or just walk the trails. You will be able to day trip and ski as a resort is only an hour away. Close to all other ski resorts and Red Rocks Amphitheater. Catch the RTD light rail to downtown Denver 15 minutes away to the Rockies, Broncos, Avalanche, Outlaws games, the Theater or the night life. Enjoy a nightcap or a morning coffee under the Colorado sky while planning your new adventure for the day! If the guests stay 30 days or more, I will launder the sheets and towels every week.

This is such a lovely place to stay! The apartment is very unique and welcoming. It is very clean, nicely decorated, and has lots of touches that reflect the period it was built, but also had all the modern conveniences we needed. The location is excellent, just a short stroll to lots of restaurants and shops, as well as a nice trail along the creek. It was just a short ride to Red Rocks. Betty was extremely responsive and communication was great. We would love to stay here again next time we are in the area!

This was a perfect location for visiting Golden. Having parking was a plus, although we could walk nearly everywhere we wanted to go. The apartment is clean, comfortable, and well stocked. I especially either private patio. Don’t hesitate to book this place.

The location couldn't have been more perfect for exploring Golden. Walk down the steeet for tubing or to hit trail heads on Clear Creek. Farmers market on Saturday was great for lunch amd checking out local vendors. You can also walk to the museum and welcome center. Plenty of dining options, shopping and entertainment. The 1875 building is quaint but with all the modern conveniences. The bed was comfy. Shower was great. Kitchen fully equipped. I couldnt have aaked for a better stay.

Fabulous location in downtown Golden

Betty’s place is wonderful- we stayed for a long weekend to see a concert at Red Rocks. Golden has so many restaurants and shops - all within walking distance. Short drive to see dinosaur prints and trail heads. The nearby creek is beautiful with paved walking trail and seating along the way. Betty is available and so nice. Book this place!!

This property is ideally located in Golden. Downtown Golden is a few steps away. Shops, restaurants, Clear Creek, all nearby. The property is well maintained and very comfortable. Betty is a great host.

Cute & Convenient

We were in town for a concert at Red Rocks that included a quick stay in Golden, and this was the perfect place for a good night's sleep and hot shower. It was an easy walk to explore downtown Golden for morning coffee or a nice dinner. The proximity to Red Rocks was outstanding, and communication at every turn was excellent.

A great place to stay in a great spot.

I came to love this little place.Everything was wonderfully comfy... The bed, the couch, and the front sun room.The kitchen has all the cooking tools you'll need and everything is in great condition.The location couldn't be better. Just walk out the door and you're a minute walk to the Clear Creek. On top of that, everything that Washington Street has to offer is moments away.I hope I get an opportunity to stay here again.

Charming lovely apartment

We spent 4 nights in this lovely little spot, walking distance from the heart of downtown golden. The apartment was perfect for two people, very well appointed, and Betty was helpful and communicative with any and all questions we had, as she is right on the property. There is a lovely back patio with views to the Miner's "M" on the hillside, and we enjoyed watching the paragliders. Check In process was a breeze, as was check out. I would 100% stay here again, in fact we can't wait to go back!

Home away from home

This was our third time staying in one of Betty's units, and it didn't disappoint. We regularly visit Golden to see family, and her place is located just a block from the creek and a few more from downtown. The kitchen is MUCH better stocked than just about any rental we've ever had, with everything from spices to coffee/tea, and even an air fryer! Bedroom sheets are super soft and the bed is comfy. Plus there's space for some remote work-from-home if needed at the kitchen table.We will definitely be back!

Perfect location

We were visiting family in Golden. This was a perfect location to walk downtown or along Clear Creek. The town is quiet at night so had no issues with traffic or parking. We will stay here again.
