The property is gorgeous and within walking distance from just about everything. There are so many dining options to choose from both in and around the hotel. The staff was super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the area and things to do! I would recommend it for solo travelers like myself or even families. :)

Need to work out some kinks

This is a very nice, new hotel. Lobby and Dairy Block concept are great. The layout of rooms is unconventional but clever and functional. The problem is the smoke alarm started chirping in the middle of the night. Took two staff visits to resolve. Staff said they had been having this same issue in a number of rooms. That means management has not been pro-active in changing out batteries in all rooms. Instead, they wait for complaints at 1:30 AM. Probably a 4-star hotel but can’t give them that if they are unable to reliably afford guests a peaceful night’s sleep.
