the property was pretty much as to be expected. the rating would’ve been a 5 if the bed had not been so uncomfortably firm. night 1 we made due, by night 3 we were groaning about having to go to bed due to the firmness. there were plenty of kitchen items that allowed us to primarily use it as our source of meals for our week stay. prepare to purchase every seasoning and condiment needed. we travel both within the US and internationally including uk/europe/middle east/central america, nearly all 50 states etc. so we have stayed in our fair share of variety of places. with that i will say, i’m sure there are plenty of rowdy people that stay at these properties, but it felt at times like we were preemptively being scolded by our parents like teenagers. there are a lot of rules that are communicated very directly, loudly. again, not a problem for us since we are just a couple in our thirties getting away for a weekend… but the delivery for us seemed a bit intense at times. the living room could’ve used with an extra throw blanket and a game or 2. but the beach supplies were through! the view is beautiful, we were even graced with a pod of dolphins swimming by one morning. you are stocked with the bare minimum supplies, and like most other rental properties there are no housekeeping benefits. overall, 4/5. communicative host, very formal/corporate communication. it’s like a hotel stay but without the benefits of a room turn, spare towels/refresh on toiletries.
