As a Platinum member, I truly appreciated the warm welcome at Courtyard Detroit Downtown. Richard at the front desk was especially kind and helpful—thank you! The room was comfortable, the pool area was lovely, and while the hot tub could’ve been hotter, it was still a great way to unwind. Looking forward to staying here again!

Prime location for anything near Hart Plaza. The room was clean the couch in room looks like it should have been cleaned more often but it wasn’t bad. Bed was good. The annoying part was self parking. Hotel didn’t give any instructions, when I called, I got an automated text with no useful parking info. You basically park at the building behind then good luck zig zagging up and down stairs, elevators and in and out of nearby buildings on your way to the front of hotel… there’s a skywalk attacked for the Renaissance building but not courtyard?

It was awesome that there was a station for the people mover in the hotel. We had an event at ford field and Comerica park, it make getting to these destinations very easy.

I was greeted professionally and graciously by the front desk; even given an upgrade to my room as I was staying 5 nights. The rooms have been redone, had lots of closet space and a beautiful new bathroom. My two negatives: 1) I asked for daily housekeeping and even after requesting it a second time after they skipped my room on day1 (my doing - later in the room) and 2 - their doing for no reason, they still skipped the Wednesday after doing the room on Tuesday. So housekeeping came once in the 5 days!! 2) I was attending a conference at the REN Centre across the road. The only convenient way to get to the overpass was to walk up and down a cement stairwell, behind closed doors. It did not feel the safest for me. Also, roads in Detroit were very much under construction for the upcoming Formula 1 (or other) road race. It did not make it easy to walk around the area.

This was an amazing place. The staff was wonderful. So kind, and helpful. The front desk gentleman, Nick, who checked us in above and beyond our expectations. The manager was amazing. I will definitely be back.
