The staff was great!! The room was very nice with lots of antique charm. Only downside was because of older home, older windows and location there was quite a bit of noise from outside and the windows were only covered with a laced material which allowed in light and I’m sure were see through at night with the room lights on.

Really cool vintage place, staff was courteous, and it was great how close it was to LCA. Although the showers water pressure was low, rooms were hot so it made it difficult to sleep, and the TV in the room isn’t great. Cool experience but expected a little more for almost $300 a night

Our room had a lot of space with a great bathtub! It was perfect for walking to Little Ceasars for a Red Wings game. The breakfast was delicious with a variety and we met some nice people while eating.

We stayed in Room 25. Room was crazy hot. Asked the front desk if we could get the heat turned down. She was able to get us 2 fans. She also notified the owner who could adjust the heat via an app on their phone. Outside of the heat we had an amazing stay. So close to Downtown that we walked everywhere during our stay

What a beautiful home to stay in. It is very clean and modern but keeps the historical charm. The close walking distance to Little Ceasars Arena was the best.

We liked the location. However this property uses the paking lot for event parking. We were met by a very pushy and rude lot attendant. I could go into further detail but i wont. not a great start to the trip or first impression. Back up further, (i need my luggage from the back) keep going hurry up, over, back more, right into a shrub with a 6 month old car. When i pay good money i dont expect to be yelled at or told anything. I know how to park a car.

Pleasant staff, nice bed, cool place! The only reason I’m knocking off a star is because of the parking situation. Site says free street parking but that is apparently no longer true, and they don’t own their lot so you have to pay $28/day or walk a half mile any time you need something from your car.

This is literally the worst place I’ve ever stayed. It’s just a house with rooms upstairs. All stairs, no other way to get to your room. Not a deal breaker but annoying with all my luggage. The house itself was nice but the room was so bad. You can hear everyone and everything. The bed itself is creaky as hell and makes noise every time you move even a little bit. Everyone else in the house must have the same bed because it’s just as loud. The TV is tiny and doesn’t have basic cable. So if you can happen to get some over the air channels you can watch something but most of those didn’t work well or at all. They never gave me the WiFi information after I asked for it and the cell service was spotty. So no way to work or entertain myself really. And the worst part was that the heat was blasting the entire time. It was like a damn sauna. Summer in December I called it. It was so uncomfortable I couldn’t sleep at all. It was truly terrible. It was so bad I literally left in the middle of the night to go to the airport. Sitting in one of those uncomfortable chairs to get some sleep was by far the better option since the room was so awful. As I was waiting for my uber I heard gunshots every 30 seconds or so and one that was probably on that block. I was absolutely terrified but it was still better than sitting in that room. I hope no one ever books this room again.
