My room was dated, drafty, and loud. I found hairs in the bed that were clearly not mine or my husband’s. But more than that, I just don’t like the nickel and diming from this allegedly four star property. There’s plenty of parking but you still have to pay $15/night to park in their poorly lit, cramped, poorly maintained garage. This is clearly a deliberate choice, as all of the ample parking in front of the hotel is labeled VALET - so basically, you have to pay extra to have someone else drive your car ten feet in front of the hotel. Breakfast isn’t included. The restaurant is ludicrously overpriced. They charge for wifi even if you’re a Bonvoy member. It’s impossible to reach a human being to get customer service. I left with a bad taste in my mouth and won’t recommend this property to anyone. The experience has made me leery of Westin as a brand.

The overall stay was really good. I want to say that Barbara, when checking in, was one of the greatest, ever! She had worked there for a very long time and her worn out name tag, said so. She laughed about how they want her to get a new one, but she doesn’t want to give it up. Possibly, a gold name tag would let that one go? She sure deserves it!

I think there’s room for improvement in the restaurant’s menu. As a vegan, I found that there were very few options available. There’s a growing movement toward environmentally friendly and cruelty-free dining, and many guests are seeking these kinds of choices. Offering more plant-based dishes — featuring fresh vegetables, fruits, and meals free from animal by-products — would not only appeal to a wider audience but also reflect a commitment to sustainability and compassion.

Yes the room was neglected. I turned on my heat because the room was cold. After waiting for an hour I called the front desk. Maintenance came up ten to fifteen minutes later and said he was just turning on the broilers. My television had to be reset because it only had the company ads on. My bathtub filled up with water when I was taking a shower. I felt that this was a 5 star hotel so why would I not be able to turn on the heat whenever I wanted to because the next day I turned on my heat again and I got no heat. also why would by tub be backed up? Why was there no room service? Why did the staff no know how to direct me to food choices in the area?
