This hotel has SO MUCH potential, but it just doesn't live up to it! The check-in is via an automated machine, not a friendly staff member. The lobby area is very fancy and smart, but smells of cigarette smoke as people are permitted to smoke just outside the front doors.
We had a 'cosy King' room, and we were expecting small. We had also seen photos, and were prepared for there to be no space around the bed. However, we were not prepared for a room that has no reading lights (lighting is either ON or OFF), nor were we prepared to have get up in the middle of the night to switch the aircon back on because 'to save energy' it goes off at 11pm and 5am, leaving the room stuffy and hot. We were not expecting to have three coathangers as the only storage for clothes, nor were we expecting to be unable to shower most mornings as there was no hot water. There were no sockets by the bed (and only two in total for the whole room) so charging phones etc was tricky. Soundproofing was poor, and the automated blinds 'clicked' all night, so we were either woken by banging doors along the corridor, or by the blinds. On Saturday morning, we were woken by the maid knocking at 8am despite our 'do not disturb' sign being on.
Overall, this is NOT a good hotel. It could be - and it should be - but it's not.
