Upon check-in the clerk was not there. There was a bell which each of the 3 waiting to check in rang. In about 10-15 min. the clerk returned and when asked said he was detained in the bathroom. When joked about he threatened and was authorized to deny reservations and checkin. Was nasty. The breakfest closed early and the TV remote had no options except high/low or up/down with no channel guide provided.

The room was run down and seemed very old. It was clean as much as it could be considering the age of the facility. When we came in the room it had a bad smell but we got air fresheners, plug ins and spray and it went away. There were some junkies staying in the room next to us to it didn’t really seem like a safe hotel. We will not be back.

This was our second stay here, and far better than our last stay. Our room had a cute little balcony. Unfortunately the smoke from the nearby wildfires we weren’t able to use it much but I still appreciated it. Also it was much more quiet this time. Maybe we stayed on a different side? I’m not sure but much more enjoyable stay.

Room is clean. Bed is very comfortable. The only thing, is the room had an odor like food or something. It might have been the cleanser used. We opened the window to get fresh air in. I wish I had packed a can of febreze.

The property is clean and well maintained. Better than most motels. The breakfast was great and had a lot of variety compared to other motels. Other amenities were good as well. The one negative thing was the water coming out of the faucets and shower. It felt a bit oily. I had to struggle to wash off the soap from my hands. If they can fix the water situation, this would be a great property to stay at. Also, the area around the property is undergoing construction and I noticed a guy lurking around the property at night, looking for a chance to get in through any open outside facing door.
