Was central to our destinations,price was great . Pool and water slide needed some attention. The advertised breakfast included with room, was set up in old suite and was not a very thought out menu for the amount of guests. Glad a Tim Hortons close by.

Unfortunately, our stay at Travelodge by Wyndham Edmonton West was disappointing. The rooms were very outdated and clearly not renovated in quite some time. The pool and hot tub were dirty and not inviting. Restaurant and feature waterslide were closed/broken. In the evenings, there were people lingering around outside the hotel, which made us feel uneasy and unsafe. While the staff did provide breakfast vouchers, the breakfast itself was very minimal, and we even witnessed an unpleasant altercation between a staff member and a guest over a meal voucher. Overall, this hotel did not meet expectations and we would not stay again.

Room had barely any toliet psort snd no spare. Took front desk 2 hrs to bring it up. Only 2 towels for 3 people reserved. You can see outside around the air conditioner. At breakfast they knly had bread, cereal and waffles. When things ran out (we went down at 9) nothing was replaced so there were extremely long lines to the little available. There is also not much seating

Our room was not clean well.it was nit vaccuum at all. Towels were not properly replaced,old ones were left hanging in the washroom,while the clean ones were left on the ledge of the bath tub. Tissue box and toilet papers were not replaced ,i have to go and ask at the front. The outlet plug was taken and i complained,the next day it was returned and placed in one of our luggages..that was unacceptable. Our stay was very poor and unpleasant.

Our stay was overall disappointing. The photo for this Travelodge is very outdated. The Smittys is no longer there and the building itself is much more run down than present in this photo. The property is not clean at all, has odours throughout and nothing seems to be maintained. The plug in our bathroom sink was broken and would constantly back up and not drain. The pool slide is not operating and probably won’t under this management. The continental breakfast was also very underwellming. It’s first come first serve and they don’t replenish items. One time we went in and there was only two cereals and a few pieces of bread left to choose from. The Smittys was replaced by a restaurant (Pezzo D’ Taliano), which is not worth dinning at. Over priced for the most basic food, some of which was not edible. They served a chicken wrap with rock hard avocado that you couldn’t stick a fork through. They charge 16.99 for a fettuccine that was literally noddles with butter and sprinkled parmigiana. Would not recommend. There is a lot of options for food in the area, and also a lot of other hotel options near by that we would go with next time.

Not a great hotel experience

The front desk staff were great. However, the room was not clean… hair in the tub and on the towels. I asked for the bathroom to be cleaned while I was out and exchange the towels and it was not done. Room has stains, hot tub jets barely work and there is a musty odor throughout the hotel.

This hotel is family and pet friendly, has a pool, a complementary breakfast, and very clean and functional rooms. You cannot beat the price! A short drive to major attractions.

Room was very gross. Scared of bedbugs so lifted the sheets to check and found the mattress cover was disgusting, covered with fake eyelashes, crumbs, etc. The rest of the room was fine but had concerning stains on walls, curtains, bedding, and furniture. Air conditioning worked well but was EXTREMELY loud and smelt like mold so the window opened instead worked just as well. Staff was kind and security guard was very nice. The pool felt dirty but it was a busy place. Decent place to stay for cheap if not spending much time in the hotel.

Definitely get what you pay for. Hotel was not very up to date, keys weren’t working. Felt bad for the people working at the desks because the check in line was long. Will most likely not stay here again.
