Ellijay is home to the famous apple festival every fall, and you have easy access to other North Georgia towns, festivals, and vineyards in Jasper, Blue Ridge, and Talking Rock

4 Bedroom/3 Bath all wood cabin. Positioned at the end of a cul de sac at the bend of the beautiful Mountain Towne creek, in the quaint town of Ellijay, home of Ellijay's famous October Applefest, and close to Jasper’s October Marble Festival.

This cabin is a family and pet friendly setting for puppies, kids, teenagers, parents and grandparents alike. From river views to indoor and outdoor games, hot tub and fireplace, we are cozy, not high end or state of the art appliances, etc…. but we are set up for relaxation and fun.

Take a walk down our path (bring good walking shoes as it is a bit steep in places) down to the river. The path is winding and can be a bit challenging (be careful if it has been raining), but so worth it when you get to the beautiful flowing waters of the trout stocked river. There is a small path that goes a little way in each direction for some nice time in nature. Several benches line the path down from the cabin to the river for those who need to stop and have a break along the way.

If the path down to the river isn't for you, enjoy the firepit behind the house up behind the driveway. It is a bit tucked away within the trees which gives some privacy. There are various seating options available there.

If you'd rather stay with the creature comforts of home, you'll find plenty of space for your family and friends to spread out and relax. With balconies located on each level, everyone can find a spot to take in the mountain and river views while listening to the river and birds chirping. Enjoy a cup of coffee outside in the mornings and you'll likely spot the deer as they go by or see the geese flying past. On the front porch play a round of giant jenga or corn hole. Internet will allow streaming of several devices at once possible anywhere in the house.

Up in the loft for games galore! Countless board games, chess, cards, arcade size air hockey table, and foosball. We often cannot get visiting children out of the game room for lunch :) New foosball table put in August 2023.

Living room has a movie projector and screen with ROKU. Stream AMAZON, NETFLIX and several additional channels allowing for a movie or game night on a 12 foot screen!.Tucked in the sunroom, we also have SKEEBALL. Pop movie style popcorn in the popcorn maker.

Head to the lower level for darts and billiards. There also two yoga mats for those who want to practice, as well as some light weights.

Venture out the doors to the outside deck for river views while grilling on the gas grill or lounging in the hot tub.

Rippling Waters wants your furry family friends to enjoy their stay as well. Secured locking gate on the large front porch, secure railed decks off the bedrooms and gate on lower deck allows your dog to enjoy every level without fear. If your furry friend likes the security of a crate, we have a large wire one, a medium wire one, and a small one available for use in the sunroom.

Although the cabin has everything your group could need to entertain yourselves and have fun, there is the added bonus of access to resort amenities including a gym, 2 outdoor pools, one indoor heated pool with rec center and fitness gym, 4 riverfront parks great for fishing, grilling and tubing with bathhouses, tennis courts, basketball court & a stocked trout pond and a dog park by the gorgeous swinging bridge. We provide one card that allows 4 guests unlimited access to the amenities (located in the binder on the table) for guests as a perk. If you need more than one card, please let us know. We can provide a second card for four additional people.

Cabin has 4 bedrooms on 3 levels

1 King bed with private river view, Large screen TV with cable and DVD and an attached master bath.

Main level bedroom has a Queen bed with private river view deck, Separate bathroom on same level with bathtub/shower.

Main level also includes queen pull out couch and trundle bed in sun room with two twin mattresses.

Lower level bedroom off game room has full size bed and attached private bathroom with bathtub/shower.

Lower level bedroom off of staircase has a queen sized bed and direct access to lower level deck with hot tub.

Game room has twin size futon sleeper chair

Whether you come in the Summer for the tubing, whitewater rafting or Ziplining; Fall for Applefest, the famous Bigfoot museum, stunning changing of the leaves or outdoor music within the community; Spring for the flowers, wineries and fishing or Winter for Hot Tub, Snow and fireplace, there's something to offer all year long. Deer wander through the property year round- Free of charge ;-) Countless waterfalls and hikes close by.

****This is a pet friendly home so feel free to bring your furry family member with you. Dogs and cats have been inside on a regular basis so those with severe allergies should be advised. The fee is per pet, so please indicate number of pets when booking for accurate deposit and adjustment if necessary. VRBO does not let you insert how many pets so we need to adjust rate manually on our end if you are bringing more than one pet. HOWEVER, please NO PETS on BEDS (including the trundle bed in sunroom) and clean up after any messes.****
