The rooms were big, morning staff was great, there IS breakfast, and it IS close to the beach. However the night staff was terrible and even actively hostile, the amenity fee was a surprise and included different things depending on who you talk to, and pedestrian access was unsafe especially if you have kids or people who struggle with mobility.

I booked the kitchenette room. It was very big with lots of floor space. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The pool was big and heated and clean. The hot tub was small but felt nice. The breakfast facilities were nice. The food was pretty good. Normal hotel food. We could see the ocean from the balcony. Room service came in everyday and cleaned our room up nicely. We were walking distance from the ocean and downtown Encinitas. We loved the location and all the convenient and yummy places to eat around there. The bed was SO COMFORTABLE! We decided to stay there one more night instead of changing hotels because of the amazing sleep we got on their beds. Never have I ever slept that good in a hotel bed before. We will be back!

Clean, spacious room. The shower was amazing- the water pressure was perfect. Fitness center was efficient and clean (a bit warm so maybe put in some AC). Breakfast included- delicious! The staff are all friendly and professional. We had a beautiful view of the ocean right from our balcony. Plenty of restaurants etc nearby. Our second stay and will not be our last!
