The balcony door lock didn't work n was never fixed. Warning, if you're a smoker, you CANNOT smoke outside on your own balcony. Limited menu. Place not as nice as we expected.

This used to be a very nice place, well worth the money, and I was excited to stay. I was very disappointed and would not recommend staying here. Motel 6 is cleaner and has nicer beds and is half the price! For the price of this hotel, the bare minimum is that it should be clean! There was dirt in the corners of the room, the windows were dirty(paid extra for an ocean view), the beds are a foam mattress, and the sheets are weird feeling. The pool area( which was part of the draw of this hotel) was filthy! Dirt on the floor, empty drink cups, torn up pool noodle, things floating in the pool and tub (I’m assuming the filter wasn’t working), the pool was cloudy, no controls for the tub (no jets, just a warm tub). The shower head was broken off making it unusable to rinse off. The next day nothing had been cleaned and there was a homeless person sitting outside of the pool area (not bad, but as he was sitting by the exit door, I was uncomfortable)

We had room number 101 which actually had two king-size beds in separate rooms as well as what I think was a sofa sleeper. It’s a great property. It needs some upkeep, but it is so convenient. The staff is so helpful and caring. I would highly recommend this as the place to stay when you are in Crescent city it has a wonderful pool and spa area inside and oh that sauna after a long day on the road. So yes, I would highly recommend it. It’s just a little old, but don’t hold that against it.

Hey hotel, the 1970’s is returning your call. Cleanliness? Felt and found dirt and grit across the solid surface floors. Maintenance? Torn sheets, towels and curtains (see pics). Drinking cup? A stack of unwrapped plastic cups. Quiet? Heard EVERYTHING from rooms next door. Rough ceramic tiles in hallway (no rugs or carpet anywhere) made it sound like an earthquake every time someone wheeled their suitcase down the hall. All of this amazingness for ~$250/nite. What a deal!

first the elevator stunk, pool had tons of hair in it so did hot tub, jets didn’t work in hot tub sauna wouldn’t warm up. Blow dry broken and laying on counter, office chair ripped up, towels had big rips and holes in them. We bought coins for the laundry 10$ and five dollars of them were nickels and pennies, then would only refund half of the coins. Beds were sub par luckily we were tired. Only true thing was good view. should only have cost about 80$ not 180$

We were mostly thrilled with our stay. Staff was friendly, helpful - they also seemed to all be friendly with each other, like a family, it just had that atmosphere. Room was spacious, comfortable and clean, great view. Pool, hot tub and sauna were all working (always a gamble) Only issue was pool/hot tub were a little dirty - couldn't find a place to rinse sand off our feet after a beach walk, it seems people come into the pool room, all the way to the back to use the pool shower to rinse their feet. So there's a lot of sand in the pool and hot tub. Loved the sauna, what a rarity at a hotel. Overall had a great stay.

I liked that the ocean was right next to the hotel. I didn’t like the homeless guy sleeping in the elevator. I also was worried the whole time that a towel or linen might get dirty and I was going to get charged for it because the sign in the bathroom. It’s been two weeks and I’m still waiting on refund for the second night we didn’t stay.

The sauna was not working properly, the jacuzzi was not working at all, the pool was dirty, and the whole area where these amenities were, was dirty. The room was big, the ocean view was ok from the room, but it was great from the dining area.
