Stayed in the Suite with a Jacuzzi and Fireplace (which is actually just an electric heater). The suite is very large and has a pleasant balcony with a view to the ocean. There is a big screen TV (looks to be 75”). Room also has a small refrigerator and microwave. Only complaint is with the bed and pillows. The pillows are large and hard and impossible to be placed under your head comfortably. The bed is an outdated coil spring mattress and should be replaced with today’s modern foam.

My family and I have stayed at Ocean View Inn multiple times and we have never had a problem until this stay. Our biggest issue this time was that it strongly smelled like marijuana every day that we were there. In the morning the smell wasn’t there but in the evenings is when it was very strong. Thankfully the room itself did not but the main lobby had a very strong smell as did the hallway. It gave me a headache just walking from our car to our room. We traveled with toddlers so I was not pleased with the fact that they were being exposed to that strong smell. Another issue is that they did not have sufficient breakfast portions. Breakfast was until 10 and on our last morning we went down for breakfast at 9 and all of the eggs were gone. When my husband went to ask if they were bringing more eggs out he was told no. We would have understood if we were asking for eggs just a few minutes before they closed breakfast but an hour before did not seem right.

So, uh.. free cereal and bagels. Ok for an average place. I mean, the hotel was nice, quite nice, but some bacon and coffee would've sealed the deal.
