We stayed at a hotel just across the street on our way down to Ocracoke Island. Let’s just say thumbs down. So I called Holiday Inn Express and made some inquiries about the beds in particular. We took a chance and booked it and this will now be THEE hotel we stay at coming and going from Ocracoke. I was very pleased with the beds in particular. The breakfast buffet had several good items to be had. The hotel was clean and felt updated and because of our experience here, we will give other Holiday Inn Expresses a chance, someplace that hasn’t been on our radar in the past.

I would expect a full refund for my inconvenience waiting for 45 minutes to get checked in. They had given away our room. Late at night after traveling all day. I fully expect Management to email me (rpowell194813@gmail.com) to make restitution. A very bad experience.
