Just ok

Lady at front desk was pretty grumpy. Not a good first impression. One of our key cards didn’t work. Room was nice and bed and pillows were comfortable. Comforter was too small for two people. Water pressure was terrible no mater what time taking a shower. This room was in the third floor of the annex. Toilet ran constantly so I fixed it.

The hotel caters to, and profits from, the cruise ship industry. Almost everyone who stays here are off the ship. They charge $24 for a buffet breakfast, and don't even have individual items for small eaters, so we walked two blocks away from downtown to a fun coffee shop for drive thru. At night the downtown is pretty vacant, probably because there are a lot of homeless. If you have a car, stay at a cheaper motel, drive intown during day.

We stayed an extra day on our trip so we booked a night here. The staff was extremely helpful. The hotel was a couple of blocks from the central bus location to catch a bus to different parts of the city. The bus maps and routes were very easy to figure out. The hotel had a shuttle that took us to the airport at end of our stay. The hotel is located in the downtown area, close to restaurants

The Westmark is an adequate hotel in a town that has limited options. So we were grateful for the accommodations. However, the hotel is dated. The location is good. The transportation is ok if you use. taxi or uber. They do not have a shuttle to the train station. There is NO pool or spa - that was a bummer. Also, there are a number of people who are just wandering the streets nearby - so walking solo is not advised.

The room was fine but we stayed four nights and had no service at all. We ended up putting the garbage in the hall for pickup. Would have liked to have the cans changed and the option of new towels without calling.

Rooms were nice. It’s mostly a tour company stop so there is a lot of tours and it can be crowded in the lobby when they are coming and going. But our room was quiet and clean.

I would not recommend!! My room was supposed to have a "City View". Well the windows were covered in plastic and tape so they could paint and when I could see out it was NOT a city view. My window led to the workers area where they were drilling or using loud power tools for most of the day... They used to have Free Breakfast, now it's $24!!! Not only that, there was only a mini fridge in the room! It Didn't even have a Microwave!! And the staff was very rude and pushy. I just would not recommend it.

Hotel only has 2 handicap parking spots near the (front of hotel) front desk check in, always full, had more handicap parking in rear of building but a long way to check in and proximity to the handicap rooms. Very difficult for physically challenge persons.
