Because Tenaya Lodge is a rural location guests should call the hotel if they need additional directions or information on how to get to the hotel. During winter months, chains may be necessary, even for four-wheel-drive vehicles.
Bears inhabit this area. Do not leave food or beverages (including water) in vehicles and heed all other warnings issued by the lodge.
Guests driving to the property should be aware of seasonal road closures. Hwy 120 (Tioga Pass) closes October through late June, restricting east-to-west travel across the park. Yosemite's eastern gate and Tuolumne Meadows are not accessible when Tioga Pass is closed. Guests are advised to check local weather and road conditions/closures with the California Department of Transportation before travel.

We had a great stay here in winter. The s’mores and daily snacks were great for the kids. The ice skating was a great amenity we enjoyed. Only disappointment was the food quality at the main dining reataurant. Didn’t match the pricing for what it was worth.

Amazing hotel experience

Feb stay. Amazing 4 star hotel/resort with a heavy family focus. Perfectly located minutes from South Gate of park on a beautiful property. Free arcade and movie playing in 2-story indoor pool area. Great lobby with fireplace to hang out. Highly recommend.

Great stay

Staff was very friendly, rooms were very clean and the food was great. We were there in February so not much to do in the resort itself but very cole to Yosemite National Park. Would definitely stay there again.
