The room was comfortable and provided good value for the cost. However, a significant drawback was the poor ventilation; cooking odors from neighboring units permeated our room and lingered, making the stay genuinely uncomfortable. Even a subsequent attempt by staff to deodorize the room was unsuccessful.
It's important to note this is an RCI timeshare facility, not a standard hotel, so don't expect the typical flexibility of a hotel.
A negative check-in experience almost soured the stay: We arrived two hours early, and after waiting 30 minutes, the front desk attendant attempted to charge an early check-in fee, despite the room being ready. I chose to leave to wait elsewhere. Fortunately, the manager intervened, apologized, and allowed us to check in without the extra charge. I appreciate the manager's action, but the initial interaction was disappointing.
Overall, it was an adequate stay, though the odor issue and initial check-in friction were notable downsides."
