The beds were very comfortable. My room was in dire need of cosmetic repairs. The pool advertised it was heated. It wasnt. We couldnt use it. You have to ask and plead for everything from towels to coffee. There was no ironing board or hair dryer either. They charge deposits on everything from keys, early checkin and beach towels. It is in a convenient location. The pool area is very attractive but the property is in great need of repairs.

Very loud. Very dingey. Dirt was on the floor, end tables not wiped down, hair in the shower, sand in the bed. Kids screaming all night running in the hallways. Wont be back.

The manager of the hotel absolutely screwed us with our booking. We had late check in and he told us the door would be left open on arrival as he wouldn’t be around. Door was locked so we couldn’t get in when arriving from the airport. No responses to my calls or messages through the app. They are refusing to give a refund for the two paid nights. Stay clear of this “hotel”.

The ambience was nice - pool, deck area. But rooms were not as clean as they could be - dirty rag in the shower, hair on towels, only 1 roll of toilet paper, etc. Check in with Patrick was difficult- couldn't find our names even though they were written in the book right in front of him. The hotel is definitely showing it's age (physical keys, run down etc), but it was good value for the money and close to the beach and other amenities. I would stay again if the price was cheap.

Room was absolutely filthy. Linens and pillows were covered in mold. There were bodily fluids on the sheets and mattresses. When asked for clean sheets, the front desk person stated they didn't have any. We were checked in the room for roughly 3 hours (total before leaving) because as soon as we got there we went to the beach and upon return discovered the filth on sheets, pillows and the beds. The room smelled of mold, as well. We ended having to go to and pay for another hotel room at a different hotel, as there was no way that I was going to expose my wife and children to that environment.

Lovely family-run business in a historical hotel with a lot of character. The garden and pool is amazing. The hotel itself is showing its age, but they said they'll be making some renovations soon, and anyway I think the uniqueness of the hotel is something special.
