Disgustingly filthy!

This was, by far, the filthiest room we have ever had to stay in! It stunk of cigarette smoke, was in total disrepair and hadn’t had repairs or maintenance done for years! Cigarette burns on blanket & bedspread, drops of blood on bathroom floor, no lock on bathroom and security bolt was missing from front door. This was a disgrace to the Wyndham name!

The room was bare bones. The bedspread was either old and dirty or worn. The rubber seal around my door was hanging off and the room had a damp scent.

This property is so neglected the price of $176 was price gauging because of the cruise lines. The bathroom faucet was loose, the shower faucet didn’t work correctly, the bedspread had holes & a stain, if you plan on going on a cruise & are coming a day earlier, just bite the nullet osy more or stay further away, never again

I booked for a two night stay here upon arrival I realized that this place is ran by a family, literally they have the kids doing the laundry. The stay was okay for what I needed the problem I experienced was that the WiFi didn’t work is was terrible so forget about the free WiFi then when I arrive back after picking my kids up from school there was no water that day we couldn’t even use the restroom or shower or even was our hands that sucked. The lady (wife) seemed to have an attitude problem for no reason. There isn’t always someone present at the office I stayed at the door for 5min before just leaving from being tired of standing at the door waiting for someone to let me inside.

I saw this was rated at 2-stars and thought, ok it's probably a 2-star in this location but elsewhere it might rate 3-stars when compared to other available hotels. No, it's a 2-star at best. There was mold in the shower. The t.v. remote was grungy, the bed sank in the middle. The door to the office is locked at all times and you have ring a bell to be let in so it gives the impression that it is in a sketchy neighbourhood. I wouldn't book with them again.

Overall, my stay at Super 8 was somewhat OKAY. Our group of 3 arrived for check-in after 7pm and I was very upset with the condition of my room when we first arrived. Apparently, hotel/motel management was unaware that someone had used the room earlier that day as the room itself was in disarray. One of the 2 beds was used (made obvious by the used and ruffled sheets and pillows). There was trash in the garbage can and the floor needed to be swept. We had to leave the property for 25 minutes while "housekeeping" cleaned the room, which was the only one available. This was a GREAT INCONVENIENCE as my daughter needed a place to rest after having 2 surgeries earlier that week and needed to be near the airport. However, when we returned after 8pm, the room was clean and she was able to rest. So yes, the initial contact was much to be desired, but in the end Super 8 served its basic purpose.

The TV in the room did not work for two days. I could not watch TV and I spent 229 to stay there for two days and the TV never worked and they said no visitors.

It was all good until 3:30 a.m. when the couple next door decided to have hard sex. She was pretty loud I didn't want to interrupt them, but I didn't get any more sleep.... I seen them both in the morning on the patio and she said "I hope I didn' wake you last night.
