This is an old Marriott with lots of remodeling going on. Room very open and spacious. Balcony but nothing to sit on out there. Neighborhood seems decent and safe. Keurig coffee in the room which will be welcome in the morning. Restaurant available in hotel for purchase, otherwise not much choice. I thought this room was pricey but compared to what others in our party are paying at different spots it’s not so bad and adequate. Shuttle to cruise port available for $20/pp which seems a lot to go 3 miles but it’s vacation.

Overall this experience was poor. 1) The property was under construction. This is one of those things that you don’t find out until after you book the room and arrive at the hotel. Then, there’s nothing you can do. There was no noise associated with the construction. However it was unsightly. 2) The rooms are not well insulated from noise and therefore you can hear loud cars drag racing on the highway that runs near the hotel. The constant roar of commercial airplanes taking off lulled me right awake at 6:00am. 3) The room was dirty with hairs in the shower, cigarette burns on the furniture, and other stains here and there. The roller shade had tattered and frayed edges and was very difficult to open and close. The sliding shower glass door was also very difficult to open/close. The room #806 needed to be rehabbed. For $335/night I expected a lot nicer room.

Just an okay hotel. Parts are under construction. The biggest reason for the rating is the bathroom. There is no privacy and the shower head didn't work. No bath tub. The only solid door, is to entervthe room. The area the the toilet is separate from the shower, but it has a frosted glass, barn-style door. The shiwer wall between the shower and room is also frosted glass. And the section around the sink isntca solid wall. So when you turn on a light to use the bathroom and everyone else is asleep, its like turningvon the sun because the light shines through all of the fristed glass room dividers.

Run!!!! Stay away from this property it’s a dump. The pics on the Expedia apps must’ve been from another hotel because this place made motel 6 look good. The staff tried real hard and for the most part served us well. This property was under renovation which's of course wasn’t mentioned when booked. Mattresses were crap pillows were flat the sink didn’t drain. Will never stay here again. And if Marriott doesn’t get their crap together won’t be staying on any of their properties ever again. Got swindled out of $400 for a $20 room!!!! First time in my life I really feel like I’ve been duped! Thanks to Marriott!

Not what the pictures show!

Hotels.com did not tell us this hotel was under construction. It was a complete mess. When you walk in this gross curtain was hung up. The elevator was old and run down and gross. Our room was run down and did not look anything like the pictures. Our shower was dirty. Our bed was super uncomfortable! I called down for a blanket and the lady said I don’t have time to get you a blanket if you want one come and get it (was rude) So I come downstairs. She goes behind the curtain and finally comes out with a blanket that looked used and not clean or fresh! We will not be coming back here again. We paid $225 a night for this hotel - not worth that at all!

This was our second stay at Maritime. Both times an alarm clock was set for an hour much earlier than we wanted to wake up. 4:45 am this morning. And I couldn't figure out how to keep it from going off again! The two shades were tangled in an open position. We had to work to close them. The body lotion was empty.

The lobby was hideous and under construction, which was not mentioned in the hotel listing. Pictures were not representative of this hotel. The room was in poor condition, very noisy, and very mimimally decorated. The ownership/management must have a lack of interest in elevating this property to a higher level.
