We will definitely be staying again! Very welcoming, clean and so convenient! It is smaller hotel so not a lot of guest which is nice! One small thing I wish is that the pool hours was posted so we would have known and not got the kids ready twice for the pool for it to be closed.

Four night stay in room 202 was wonderful. Beds were super comfortable, immaculately clean, very well equipped, and the view was lovely. We were very impressed by the maintenance gentleman who takes beautiful care of the property. The pool is fantastic. I have been struggling with where to stay since the hurricane, but I found a new place to hang my swimsuit.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, the elevator was down the duration of our trip and we were on the 4th floor, but we were prepared as they called us before our trip to make sure we would be ok to still be in our room. Would definitely go back to The Edison Beach House!

I had a beautiful apartment with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with an ocean view. Staff was very nice! Location was perfect! There is a beach closet where you can borrow needed beach items for the day. Loved that! I used beach chairs and floaty. They notified me ahead of time that the elevator would be out of order. Great communication!

Having the beach at a walking distance is always a plus! Very nice apartment for a weekend getaway. There are also many little places to go have a drink or eat.

Pros: daily housekeeping, washer and dryer, great location, beautiful view, nice pool, there is a beach closet with a great selection of chairs and umbrellas for the beach Cons: furnishings are very outdated, carpet torn and fraying and repaired with tape, metal on furnishings is rusty, pillows in very bad shape, very noisy inside the building - doors slamming, we could hear every time the people beside us and above us opened their patio door, patio doors very outdated and loud- they sound like boulders being rolled, key cards get erased fairly often and have to be reprogrammed, even when they are reprogrammed it sometimes takes 2-3 tries to get the door unlocked.

We just stayed here for a week and it was a wonderful experience. When we checked in the woman at the desk was WONDERFUL! The room itself was very clean and welcoming. The staff were very nice, always saying hi when you see them. The view…. Out of this world! Waking up everyday to the ocean was amazing. We have recommended Edison Beach house to everyone! We will be coming back!

Edison House was a great property at Fort Myers Beach. Close to everything, but not super crowded like the Margaritaville area. Clean, spectacular views & right on the beach. Already planning our next trip.

Love the rooms, and Miss Anna. Second time i have stayed here. Second time the elevator was broke. Put us on the 5th floor. Very nice gentleman helped with the luggage. Came back to our room one night and our door was open and the lights were on. We didn't leave it that way. Someone had been in our room. I reported it to the front desk and security. They did nothing about it. Kept telling me that it has never happened before and its impossible for anyone to have gotten in our room. It's unfortunate, but i won't stay there again.

This was a nice place to rent. Unfortunately at the time, the elevation had stopped working, but we were notified beforehand. This was a minor inconvenience. Other than that, the room and resort was very nice. We enjoyed that they had a beach closet that contained various items that we could take with us. The beach was right out front, with easy access. We would stay again.

The only reason that I didn't give it five stars was because the elevator wasn't working. But they had called me ahead of time to let me know so I appreciated that. I've stayed here before and it's a definite five star place. The rooms are nice and spacious and clean. There's a view from almost every room of the beach. Location could not be better. Right near Town Square. So awesome!
