I travel to northern bc 2-3 times a year for business and this is my favorite hotel love having a king suite with jacuzzi tub as a treat after 12-14hrs driving. Always clean, friendly staff and decent breakfast bar

Pros: decent sized room, hot tub, fireplace, plenty of hot water with good pressure. Truck parking in back (we had a UHaul). Laundry on site for those who are on a long road trip. Room was clean. Good option for a small town on the Alcan. Cons: no cable, with only basic TV channels, although there is a DVD player. Funky lighting, but we were able to switch out bulbs. No shower curtain in bathroom, but desk clerk brought one up and I was able to get it hung up. One washer in laundry, and there is a lot of truckers who stay here, so time your laundry visit right. No change machine, or ATM, so have Canadian coin on you. There isn’t vending for the laundry supplies, so go to the front desk and purchase one Tide Pod for a $1 and one dryer sheet for $0.50. Outdated property, but it’s been better maintained than a similar property in Dawson Creek.

I was very disappointed in this hotel. The room was a good size, plenty big. We had no view of but it was extremely dirty. Walls and ceiling looked like they’d never been wiped down, there was an inch of dust and dirt behind the desk, the curtains had visible stains on them and were so worn that they had holes in twas the worst I’ve ever slept in with the mattress so worn out we were sleeping on springs. The onsite restaurant was very good though. It’s a Japanese place with great servprices.
