The air conditioner didn’t work ,the elevator could barely fit one person,their was no remote for the tv.outside on the streets people were doing crack .overall a very unsafe area.left that same day and didn’t get my money back.

Hotel is easy to get to and the staff were friendly. The room itself is fine and functional for our overnight stay. The area outside of hotel is dodgey due to train station, however it felt safe inside the hotel.

Another excellent stay at Hamburger Hof Hotel. The front desk staff is outstanding and even called a local restaurant for us when we weren't able to book reservations online. The room is basic but has everything you need including many electrical outlets, a heat lamp in the bathroom, a refrigerator (hidden in the night stand so you have to look for it), good lighting (overhead plus lamps), a good-sized desk, etc. Air conditioning blew cold but I think you really have to follow the explicit instructions I was given by the front desk on my first day: 1. ALL windows must be closed or it won't come on. 2. Put your room key in the AC slot 3. Set the blower to the lowest fan speed first 4. Let it run for 5 minutes. 5. Adjust to your preferred fan speed and temp. This is a great property, value priced and super close to the train station. Definitely a go-to for me.

Hotel close to main train station. Nice room, comfortable beds. First room we checked into, air conditioning fan extremely noisy. Kind reception staff changed rooms, but second room air conditioning fan ran but with no cooling after hours of running! Not ideal in hot summer temperatures! Followed all instructions from hotel staff, but believe unit needs maintenance/re - gassing! Disappointing 😞

It is a great hotel very close to one of the train station exits. In the evening, people sleeping in the streets make it feel a bit uncomfortable. There is a police station very close to the hotel, so it didn't feel unsafe there.

I was really happy with this property. The front desk staff were helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The room was clean and the air conditioning was cool. Plenty of bright lighting in the room and the bathroom. I had the standard twin room and yes, it was small, but it was fine with a desk and chair in addition to the bed. There was also a small refrigerator in the nightstand and a heat lamp in the bathroom. I didn't take the breakfast but it looked pretty good. Honestly, I was perfectly happy here. Very convenient to the train station (just be sure you take the correct exit from the station). My only "complaint" would be that I personally thought that the neighborhood was a little rough but I was only there for one night then took the train out the next morning so really, it was great.
